There is plenty of opportunity to fish all the way along the coast, where there is a good opportunity to catch sea trout.

The Garden House

At Søllestedgaard Estate, in the courtyard right next to the main building, is the steward's residence, one wing of which has long served as the garden house, which is now being rented out. The garden house is a lovely apartment on 2 levels with a view of the moat and direct access to the terrace. The apartment sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The home is close to Maribo Cathedral and Lake Maribo, which is a really nice place to walk by, with the beautiful green surroundings. It is about 500 meters to the supermarket and pedestrian street with shops. Many eateries. The host couple, Gitte and Kurt, live in the house next door.
