Holiday rentals with lake access in Federal Way

2nd visit to this wonderful house. Great for families with teens or young adults - between the pool table, the kayaks and the space itself. We'll be back!

James place was a pleasure to stay in, it was cleaned had everything we needed and more for a beautiful weekend! Bonus points for having more than one selection to watch other than Netflix thank you again!

We had the very best weekend at the lake house. The kids loved all the water fun! The dock was a hit! The place is peaceful and clean! Had everything we needed to enjoy our time off. The ping pong table was fun! The place is even nicer than the pictures look! Will book again in the future! Thanks again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your place is elegant, comfortable, and so well thought out. We relaxed. Watched the herons, plunged in the sea at Fay Bainbridge, and took advantage of everything Bainbridge has to offer. I hope to come back! Have a great summer.

Arwen was a lovely host. There was a slight complication getting into the house and but she was so lovely and gracious. The decor and design of the house are impeccable… I’m trying to figure out if she could come decorate my house the same way! It truly felt like a retreat and a magical getaway. Just two things to note. — I stayed with my mother and daughters and the small steps up and down from room to room were a bit tricky for my 80-year-old mother. Also, the steps to the upstairs are very steep, though so worth the climb— so beautiful up there! — There is road noise from the traffic in the evening… lots of cars going across the spit, but we were able to tune it out. Arwen has thought of everything and it truly is a lovely relaxing house- like a garnet hill catalog or something! There was a slight complication getting into the house but Arwen was apologetic and responsive. Highly recommend the stay to any family!

Lisa has gone above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. From the welcome snacks to the small sunscreen and other items in the bathrooms, she has put a lot of thought and planning to ensure guests have an exceptional experience at the lake. The kitchen has some of the nicest cooking tools that I have seen in an Airbnb and we were able to happily cook most meals in. We stayed three nights and enjoyed kayaking, hiking in the local area, as well as eating at local restaurants. It was a perfect vacation with our kids and we created many happy memories. One of the most unexpected surprises was the floating dock on the lake: my daughter spent two hours daily playing on the dock, jumping back and forth between the deck and the floating dock. It felt like a giant water bed. I wouldn't hesitate to book this place, I cannot recommend it enough.

This home was perfect! I wish we didn't have to leave! The home was extremely clean and well maintained. We loved being on the water and took advantage of the deck and kayaks every morning. The location on the lake made it so that motor boats weren't speeding by. The fish, ducks, geese and eagles were all active and enjoyable to watch right from the deck. We had a nice dinner with a great view of Rainier at the golf course a couple of miles away. There is a grocery store and additional restaurants a few miles further, but nothing was really walkable from the house as there are no sidewalks. The host let us know if a maintenance issue (damaged window blind) that could not be fixed before our arrival. This did not affect our ability to enjoy the house, but was nice that they let us know about it. I hope this home is available when we visit the area again!

This studio apartment did not disappoint and honestly, it’s way cuter than the pictures. 😊Everything was clean and well kept. My puppy and I appreciate that there were designated dog bowls to use! A very comfortable quiet neighborhood and Jeremy had amazing communication. He threw recommendations at me and he also proactively communicated about anything he thought might make our stay better. I would definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful neighborhood location. A short walk down to Washington Lake walking path. Bus or light rain nearby for easy transportation to Seattle sites. This rental is very clean and comfortable. This is our second stay and we will be back. Thank you Lisa for a pleasant getaway.

Thomas's location was perfect for our weekend trip. The apartment was not just what we needed; it felt like a home away from home. It was cozy, and we felt comfortable. Thomas was a great host. He communicated that the apartment was ready for us when we arrived and that we could check in earlier than the usual check-in time. We did not meet the first day we arrived, but he came down to introduce himself the next morning, and we had a friendly chat to discuss our plans for our visit to the area. This location is ideal for anyone who plans to visit the city to attend any events held at T-Mobile Park or Lumen Field, as the routes to the area are simple and easy to get to. Plus, it is a good location to get to downtown Seattle or Bellevue, with easy access to major roadways. I will consider Thomas's location again for future travels to Seattle.

Truly enjoyed this location as a place to reset. It's a dream view when you wake up and get up in the morning. Hope to come back here soon.

The apartment was exactly as described – very clean and well-equipped. The hosts were super friendly and always easy to reach. I felt completely comfortable and would definitely recommend this place!

Incredible is an understatement, both the host and place gave me such a good welcome and experience of Seattle that I almost didn’t want to come back home. Everything from the window view, proximity and warm energy made my stay such a beautiful experience. Staying here is top must especially if it’s your first time!

Incredible! The space was clean and in a great neighborhood. The yard was beautiful and it was so fun to get to say hi to the goats! The host was great; she was so kind and very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the Seattle area; public transportation is easy and accessible and the house is within driving distance to Mt Rainier as well. Overall, great place to stay!

A gorgeous spot on the lake - especially loved the fireplaces, hot tub, and dock w/ a view of Mount Rainier!

This is a cozy little spot that makes for a perfect retreat from the world while still having some great amenities just a mile or two down the green winding roads. I can't wait to bring the pups back later this summer when the lake warms up!

Great experience overall. Apple maps gets the directions wrong and suggests the wrong driveway but make sure to go to the one closest to the white mailbox that is at an angle

This place is AMAZING! The photos do not do it justice; the views are superb. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Super peaceful and lots to see and do on the property. Christian also made it a point to get the place prepared for check in a bit earlier due to flights arriving earlier than expected. Super accommodating and responsive host; would love to stay here again.

I wish we had had more time in Lake Tapps and our stay there. You couldn’t ask for a better lakeside view and sunsets! The space was a good size for two adults and was in great condition. Very clean. Complimentary snacks and available use of kayaks, SUPs, fire pit, etc. were a nice touch, even if we didn’t get the chance to utilize all of them! Suzy was super nice and super responsive. If we find ourselves in or around Seattle again, I hope we can go back!

Beautiful location!! Nice and quiet with a real pretty view of the lake. Hot tub was also super nice in the rainy afternoon :) 10/10 recommend!

We had a relaxing stay at this cozy getaway on Longlake. The space was clean, well-stocked, and perfect for a quiet escape. The king bed was comfortable. We loved spending time on the dock and enjoying the peaceful lake views. The location felt private and serene. Access was easy, with clear directions to the lower level. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the water!

We had an incredible weekend at the cottage! The house is perfect and has such a beautiful setting. Everything about the house was very intentional. We had everything we needed and more! We will absolutely be staying here again!
