Our apartment is a cozy and comfortable accommodation for a relaxing stay in the picturesque Westerwald vacation region. The apartment can accommodate up to four people and is ideal for couples, families or friends who want to experience the charm of the Westerwald. The location of the apartment is perfect for those who love nature. It is located in a quiet area of the Westerwald, surrounded by forests, meadows and rivers that invite you to hikes or excursions.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Our lovingly furnished apartment is located in the tranquil village of Winnen on the Westerwald Steig between Holzbach Gorge, the 18-hole golf course and Secker Weiher. The cities of Limburg and Hachenburg are within easy reach. Attractive cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity invite you to day trips. The beautiful garden is a highlight. The sun-drenched conservatory invites you to linger and relax. The fireplace, which spreads a soothing warmth.

Cottage at the Holzbach Gorge

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

Sie liegt ruhig am Waldrand und hat einen eigenen Eingang, der viel Privatsphäre bietet. Naturliebhaber schätzen die Nähe zum Westerwaldsteig, einem beliebten Wanderweg. In the rough Oberwesterwald directly at the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach has dug its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength and inspiration. Fire pit and kettle grill are available. Towels and sheets on request.

Historic mill - barn loft

I rent this unique apartment in the courtyard of a historic mill. (Also check out my new apartment 'In the stable'.) The barn loft is located under the roof of the former barn. It consists of a combined kitchen-living room, bedroom and bathroom. You can reach the room via several stairs. Pure nature, with horses, dogs, cats, chickens and geese and all that naturally goes with it.

Charming, small guest house with terrace.

For short breaks (cyclists/boaters) who want to stay one or two nights at short notice. Simple equipment, single kitchen, shower and toilet on the first floor, upstairs bedroom with double bed. A roll mattress can be used for children. No TV, no closet. Located one street from the Lahn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.
