Sæból is a historic farm in one of the most remote parts of Iceland. Visitors will find a truly authentic experience of life in the Westfjords, past and present. It provides amazing access to the mountains and the sea, and the opportunity to enjoy the remoteness and quiet that make the Westfjords so special. In Sæból lives a friendly sheep farmer known as Bettý (my mother) and she is the last remaining resident of Ingjaldssandur. She also makes beautiful handcrafts that she sells at her house.

Our beautiful house is in the center of the old town in Stykkishólmur. It is located within a walking distance from all of the fine restaurant the town has to offer. It is located 50m (160 ft) from the Water Museum that offers spectacular view over the town, harbor, mountains and the islands that the fjord is famous for. The local swimmng pool, supermarket, pharmacy and bakery are within walking distance. The house is two floors built in 1907 and is 105 sq meters in total. HG-00016026

It nests in a spacious garden near the sea and the harbor of the small fishing village of Bolungarvík witch is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The house is on 2 floors, on the ground floor there is a open kitchen, living room with a sofa and a bathroom with a shower. The second floor is a sleeping loft with 1 double bed, a travel crib is available op on request.

A small cozy cottage on the edge of a forest in the Westfjords, more specifically by Þingeyri Dýrafjörður. Here you can relax in unspoiled surroundings and enjoy nature in Brekkudalur. This small 25 sqm cottage is heated with a wood stove, water closet, cold running water, gas refrigerator and gas stove.
