The apartment is really great and surrounded by water. We were there over Pentecost and it was wonderfully quiet. Rune's supermarket is right next door and unfortunately was closed over the holidays during our stay. Otherwise, it's super practical. Rune is very friendly and we also rented his little boat to sail across the Lysefjord. A great experience!

We were visiting with three adults for a few days. The apartment is very well equipped and also very spacious. Here, everyone will find the right place to unwind and relax after a hike. The possibilities for hiking are very diverse; even for people like us, who like to travel away from the crowds. The apartment is much nicer than it looks in the pictures. Above all, the terrace invites you to linger comfortably - different from what it looks like in the pictures. We were very positively surprised. There is also no sound of other people living in the house. Absolute silence and plenty of privacy. The double beds are quite soft, while the bunk bed is a bit firmer for people who prefer to sleep on a hard surface. Thanks for the great place to stay!

This 1-bedroom flat is perfectly located in Forsand, right by the fjord, with on-site parking available. It’s about a 45–50 minute drive from Stavanger and offers easy access to both passenger and car ferries — ideal if you plan to explore other parts of Norway. The location is excellent for hiking enthusiasts: just a 20-minute drive to Preikestolen, with ferry options to Kjerag and many other scenic spots nearby. The highlight of the stay is the stunning view from the living area, which opens directly onto a front porch with outdoor seating — a fantastic bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen has limited counter space, so meal prep can be a bit tight, but it’s equipped with an induction hob for quick cooking. There are also two local supermarkets nearby (just check their opening hours in advance). Overall, this place is a gem — peaceful, scenic, and a great base for hiking and discovering Norway’s natural beauty. Tor, thank you for sharing your space!
