Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of rolling hills, Icelandic horses, and Scottish Blackface sheep. Erholungsort für Naturliebhaber mitten im Biospährenreservat Südschwarzwald liegt Schweigmatt. Über dem Wolkenmeer der Rheinebene steht unser schönes Waldhaus. Starte deine Wanderungen direkt vor der Tür am Westweg, oder Mountainbiketour durch den Schwarzwald. Fahre mit der S-Bahn (8 min mit dem Auto .) in 30min. Nach Basel, Frankreich ist 45 Minuten entfernt, Freiburg eine Stunde. Feldberg 45 Minuten. Schwimmbad Schweigmatt ist ein Vereinsbad. Man kann für 20 Euro für 4 mal erwerben.

Umgeben von Weinreben und am Fuße des Nordschwarzwaldes steht unsere wunderschöne Scheune. Ein Ort, an dem Familien zur Ruhe kommen können und unvergessliche Abenteuer vor dem Scheunentor warten. Altschweier ist ein gemütliches Weindorf mit tollen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung (Gertelbacher Wasserfälle, Mummelsee, Baden-Baden, Freiburg, Europapark Rust, Straßbourg). Auf unserem Hof leben Esel, Ziegen, Schafe und Hühner. Auf Wunsch bieten wir Hofführungen und Eselwanderungen an.

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. The original old wooden beam ceiling radiates rustic cosiness. The new bathroom with retro tiles also fits perfectly into the ambience. 2-room Heidi-House surrounded by woods and meadows

Our Heidi House is located in the middle of the Black Forest, in a small valley surrounded by green meadows. Next to the Heidi house is the farm we live on. The Heidi house is detached and has a separate entrance, so your privacy is guaranteed. The farm is located at the end of a road, with no traffic passing through, and is surrounded by meadows, fruit trees and forest. Our own stream and a small pond with a bench on the property invite you to relax.

Historic Black Forest House

Welcome to our idyllic house on the edge of the forest. Enjoy the tranquility and use our barbecue area for relaxing evenings outdoors. Our house is ideal for hikers, mountain bikers and motorcyclists. In winter, numerous ski slopes and cross-country ski trails are only 15 minutes away. After an active day, you can unwind and recharge in our in-house sauna. Our accommodation can accommodate up to 5 cars and free Wi-Fi.

You don't hear any street or cars and yet relativeley close to train station or shopping (5km). You can reach restaurants by foot (15 min). Ideal starting point for hiking tours, city trips or just relaxing.
