It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. Thanks to both of them for the very fine, delicious and cuddly welcome greetings! I'm sure we'll be back.

The most beautiful and comfortable stay we have had in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can completely relax. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

This was the most beautiful spot we have stayed at. The location and surrounding were so peaceful. Everything was exactly as shown in the photos.

The welcome from Reinder and Inge was fine. Easy to reach and thoughtful on all fronts. The accommodation was super clean and private. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy peace and quiet and the beautiful Frisian landscape near the Wadden Sea.

We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend staying with Christine – especially for families with small children! Already upon arrival, we received a warm welcome. The play barn was decorated with great attention to detail and excellently equipped - a real paradise for our 2-year-old son. He was particularly enthusiastic about the animals, which he greeted every morning with joy. The time on the pasture was a real highlight for him, and he already misses his animal friends. The apartment also left nothing to be desired: very clean, well equipped and with everything you need for a relaxing family vacation. The large garden was a dream - with a natural pool, sauna and many play opportunities for our little one. So we as parents could also really switch off in between. The area offers many beautiful excursion destinations, which are also suitable for small children. We felt completely comfortable. Thanks for everything!!

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

It was wonderful to stay in the yurt. The warmth that the wood stove gives is unparalleled, so nice. In the morning, the chickens welcome you. The intuitive painting workshop was also very cool. I will definitely be back! Thanks for hospitality.

We had a very nice time at the farm. Our little 2-year-old son and we too ; ) had a lot of fun with all the play equipment and vehicles of any kind. The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. No matter which room you are in, you always look into the green, that was very relaxing. Anytime again!

We have already been to this beautiful house several times and always feel very comfortable. It really has everything you need and both nature and Emden are really easy to get to.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The accommodation corresponds exactly to the pictures and was furnished with great attention to detail. The quiet location, a little outside, ensures a relaxed atmosphere and an ideal retreat. The accommodation was always clean and cozy, which made our stay very pleasant. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating, which further enriched the stay. We think it's great that pets are allowed in the accommodation. It makes the stay even more pleasant for animal lovers and allows you to bring your four-legged friends along. We can recommend this accommodation without reservation and would come back anytime.

We had wonderful days in Inken's studio at the Wilhelminenhof. The furnishings are very stylish and you can feel that not only good ideas and a sense of interior design, but also passion are involved. The park-like garden, the playground, the foyer for guests, the wind-protected glass house, ... are also lovingly designed. We loved the path by the sea to Dornumersiel, the mudflat hike from the Wadden Sea Nature Park House, eating fish at the small harbor, the sheep on the dike and our day trip to Baltrum. Since we arrived by bus and train, we of course also found the bus stop right in front of the house great. Thanks for having us as guests.

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

After our wedding, we set out to spend a few nights in the stork's nest of Gerd and Kathinka. You can see the love in every detail on the farm as soon as you enter the grounds. We were shown everything and it quickly became clear how casual the next few days would be. There is always something going on in the yard. We deliberately took some time and simply walked for a few hours and helped with the horses, for example. It's great that there was a certain basic trust for this. The pottery course at Kathinka was also super exciting. We are already looking forward to the final product. We were able to take a lot of the stay with us and are already looking forward to the next time. :)

We felt very comfortable right away and as three couples including a small child, we had everything we needed, enough space and a kitchen that left nothing to be desired. We will be happy to come back :)

Had a wonderful stay with 8 friends! Contact in advance about how we wanted the beds and on arrival a friendly welcome in a beautifully arranged and very clean house. Very complete with a lot of things thought of, time and attention is given to it. The late check out on Sunday at 5pm was also a luxury. Also quick response during stay. Would definitely recommend it!

What a wonderfully beautiful and serene place to stay. It was a cute and quaint little cabin with absolute privacy and so quiet with the canals gurgling right next to you. It was an absolutely phenomenal stay and a gorgeous location.

We had a great stay! The apartment is located in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you can be in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and attentive host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. An absolute must! --- Let me know if you want to change anything in terms of tone or length.

TOP Airbnb, we felt comfortable from the first moment and can only recommend this neighborhood! Everything sparkling clean and like new, comfortable beds, great internet. Sabine is an extremely courteous and accommodating hostess. She was always immediately available to address our concerns. The location is very quiet and the apartment is completely private. It was really great at Julia's place. For my son, the garden with play equipment & chickens was the absolute highlight, for me the proximity to all kinds of excursion destinations: Föhr, Sylt, Husum. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and Julia and her family totally nice.

Great location surrounded by beauty. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided local recommendations. Just enough distances from the city if you want to check out Amsterdam or the beach, both about 40-55 minute drive depending on traffic. House had everything we need. Great fenced yard with view of canal.

Caroline and Jan are super friendly hosts! Their amazing rustic accomodation almost makes you feel like you have home back in time. We loved that it was dog friendly too. We visited in April/May and the temperature was perfect but I think it would be quite warm in summer without airco. Saying that - if you are looking for peace and quiet and 10-20 minutes from amazing locations in Friesland; look no further!!! Would recommend!

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.
