Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Frisia

We had a great time at the Friesenhof. The shepherdpherd's wagon meadow lodge and the kitty wagon were super cozy. The view out over the meadow was simply wonderful. The farm has a lot to offer for children. A large kettcar garage, lots of animals and a playhouse with table soccer. We felt very comfortable and had a great vacation. Thank you dear Christina

We got married in a beach chair on Pellworm and the shepherd's wagon was our accommodation for the week. From arrival to departure, everything was perfect, you have a great team! Always helpful, experienced, but never intrusive! If you have any questions, you can also reach us via WA during the day. The accommodation was exactly as described, the group of gypsy wagons offers enough privacy and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, both inside and on the terrace. I would gladly stay again 😃

We enjoyed a night in the small Pipo wagon. We used the BBQ and took a walk in the vegetable garden and surroundings. There was a wedding until midnight, but this was definitely not disturbing, just cozy. The decor of the Pipo could be a little nicer, there were only dessert forks, for example, and also no sharp knife (for bread or to cut open a little). At the BBQ there is also no chess stuff for the grate and also no BBQ tongs or something, so we had to improvise. A light on the outside of the Pipo would also have been useful. We definitely had a nice time, so no complaints, just tips!

The shepherd's wagon and its hammock under plum and pear tree and four-legged neighborhood were the perfect place to relax. I felt completely comfortable there and highly recommend it!

Evelien always responded very quickly when I had questions about my stay. Also received clear instructions in advance about access to the accommodation. Accommodation is on their farm, but you certainly have the necessary peace and privacy, the great view is free. Everything looks like the pictures. Everything is present: fully filled cutlery drawer, glasses, fridge, electric hob, electric fire, garbage bags, dishwashing utensils, towels (both for kitchen and shower)... We were very kindly received by Gila and immediately felt welcome. As a child, many people probably wondered what it was like to live in a showman's caravan. Here you can experience it live and for us it was a great break for the three of us. Even on departure, Gila and Hans did not miss the opportunity to say goodbye to us personally. Thank you for the hospitality, we will be happy to come back!

Had booked the cabin but would have preferred the log cabin afterwards. This indicated there and there was another free, could be left right away! Wonderful stay on the mini campsite. Everything is basic, exactly as I had hoped and expected, delicious. The chickens, rabbits and turkeys walk around the field and occasionally come up with a curious look, they don't come in, so you don't have to be afraid of that. Plumbing is basic but fine, everything you need is here. In short, had a nice few days. The town is quite centrally located for several day trips.

We booked the place very last minute, which worked great! The contact with the owners worked great. Everything was very straightforward. It is a super nice and quiet place and it is clean there too. We had a wonderful time at a very idyllic campsite. We would come back anytime. Can recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a beautiful, relaxed and uncomplicated time in Friesland.

Beautiful escape from the city! The perfect getaway if you love nature & some peace & quiet. You can really see the detail & love that was put into the space, stunning. I would recommend staying longer if you’re using public transport as we spent most of our time trying to get to the place (also be careful not to go to the wrong address as there are two of the same in the area). Kind and responsive hosts :)

A quiet spot on earth. Marie and Sebastian's construction trailer is very nicely located and cozily furnished. We spent a weekend there with our dog and we lacked nothing. Everything that is essential is available and there is a small, sweet outdoor kitchen right by the car. The peace and quiet and the birdsong were particularly relaxing. A clear recommendation if you want to be in nature!

Authentic, individual and special! A small oasis to relax where you can leave the world "outside". Great nature, a magnificent view over the fields and a super nice exchange with Friederike. Thanks to their positive, empathetic nature, you feel welcome immediately. We are grateful to have made this detour and almost a bit sad that it could not be another night or two more!

Harry and Chantel are welcoming people, who offer a beautiful tiny house tastefully decorated in a relaxing and quiet setting. The equipment is minimal but functional and sufficient. The products made available are of high quality. The bedding is quality. The tiny house can be hot in high heat, but cools down quickly. The bathroom may seem small, but is ultimately very functional and sufficient. The location is a superb compromise: in the countryside, but a few minutes by bike from the city center via the ferry that is operational 24 hours a day. Harry and Chantel are available and answer all our questions/requests, it's one of the real added values of the rental. 👍 And of course the ice cream from the neighboring farm is excellent 👌

The stay was fine! Lana described exactly how we could find everything, everything was very clean, Lana was very friendly. It was an ideal place to stay with a large group to have a nice evening and a cozy evening by the campfire! 🤩

it was very nice to stay there. if you want to do something different from than normal, I highly recommend this cabin / camper. it was a different experience for me.

Lana's accommodation offered anything one could wish +/– ask for for a stay of 1 night or longer. • Plus: the surrounding area is framed by nature's pristine beauty. • 9|10: would defo recommend!

We were very kindly received and had a wonderful night. The car was equipped with every comfort including underfloor heating. Had a nice breakfast and slept well in the bed. Definitely recommend it.

Lana's campsite has all the amenities you could wish for. The kitchen was very well equipped with, among other things, a grill. Many showers and toilets meant that you did not have to wait. The common areas invited to community and I met many very nice guests. Recommends swimming in the river next to it.
