Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

Gilda is a great, very warm hostess. As a welcome, there was homemade jam, cake and a large fruit basket. The homemade bread was especially delicious. The farewell was sweetened again with jam and homemade limoncello. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. The view over Massa to the sea was magnificent. We felt welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. Thanks for the great place 🙂

We had a fantastic stay at the Villino - it was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and really well equipped. There is lots of outdoor spaces with the small courtyard being perfect for soaking up the sun whilst the terrace provided some lovely shade when it got too warm. It really is as nice as it looks in the pictures! The Villino is situated off a quiet street, but is an easy 2km / 20 minute walk to the walls of Lucca which as great for us - not too far away that we couldn't walk into town for sightseeing or evening meals but an easy place to drive to without having to deal with the beautiful but narrow maze of streets within the walls. Local shops and a Lidl supermarket are nearby too. Enrico was a really excellent host, arranging check-in at a time that suited us and providing lots of friendly advice and recommendations for places to eat / visit. Thank you Enrico! This Villa was by far the best Airbnb we stayed in as part of our family vacation to Italy. We are a group of 9, including 1 baby and 2 small children, and the Villa was perfect for our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the pool and the patio was perfect for our Chef prepared dinner. Thomas and Enrico were amazing hosts and super responsive to any questions. The Villa is walkable to the Towne Center, train station, and grocery store. We HIGHLY recommend the Villa and hope to be able to return someday.

Wonderful stay at Villa Vittoria, surrounded by greenery at the gates of Lucca, a wonderful city. We really enjoyed the tennis court and the gym area with hot tub, perfect for relaxing. The soccer field and pool we didn't use them, but the latter is really beautiful and well-maintained. Maximum privacy and tranquility: ideal for unplugging. The villa is thoughtfully styled and the outdoor spaces are spacious and quiet. A perfect place to regenerate, which we recommend without hesitation.

We spent 3 days for a bachelorette party. The villa is really crazy, even more beautiful than in the photo. Each floor is independent, with its kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The house is crazy in every detail, from the decor to the amenities included. The pergola, the pool and the view are spectacular and we really enjoyed them. We also organized a party with the deejay in the pergola, wonderful! The owner was really top: very helpful in all our requests and was also very flexible both at check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended place!!!

Can't say enough great things about this villa and Cristina as it's host! This was a family trip with 12 of us, and the villa provided more than enough space, bathrooms, amenities, and convenience for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were plenty and comfortable, bathrooms were larger than what you might expect for a European villa, several of them with dual sinks as well, and lots of modern upgrades that made things convenient but nothing to steal away from the absolute charm of the villa, especially the back yard by the pool. We loved spending most of our time there when we weren't exploring inside the city walls of Lucca (which are right outside the front door of the villa, an easy 5-10 minute walk away!) There were also coffee shops, markets, a pharmacy, a bank, etc., right around the corner from the villa for even more convenience. And Cristina herself? AMAZING. So proactive with communication, provided tons of information, and was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. THE BEST.

Great accommodation, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very warm hosts! We lacked nothing. We were here with 7 people for our training camp and had a fantastic time in the villa. It is really even more beautiful than we would have expected from the pictures. Surrounded by olive trees and only a handful of other houses, you can perfectly unwind - whether by the pool, in the garden or in the house itself. Zara and Mark are very accommodating and helpful. We immediately received an answer to every question and also a lot of helpful tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Zara showed us the surroundings on a short morning hike. We would never have found these places without them. We will be back for sure.

Overall we had a great stay! The dogs and area are great! Is it about an hour walk to the beach and is a little far from surrounding areas, but the walk is beautiful! We had electricity issues one night but the host was quick to reply. Overall would stay again! The house was very clean, pool was beautiful and a great place to relax!

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at this place. The house was large and had everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The house and garden offered a great atmosphere with its nice places to sit and relax or having our meals. Thank you Elena and Eugenio for your hospitality and great service.

We had a great stay at the villa. It is a little off the beaten path from Lucca, but very quiet. The furnishings are designed with great attention to detail and the entire accommodation is very clean. We were happy with everything around. Only the entrance is an adventure and can only be done with a small car.

If we could give Antica Limonaia six stars we would! Dana and Andrea were excellent at communicating and we knew they were close by if we ever had an issue. It was lovely to be met by Andrea on our arrival and shown around the house to settle us in. The house itself is beautiful - so light and spacious. Plenty of room for us with our adult children and their partners. We cooked nearly every evening in the gorgeous kitchen which was so well equipped. The laundry area was useful and well stocked. There was beautiful crockery, china, cutlery, linens. I could write an essay on how exquisite everything was (don’t get me started on the pretty tea towels) but suffice to say it was all perfect for us and will leave lasting happy memories. The table football is sturdy enough for four 20-somethings to revert to childhood!

Very nice place with everything you need for a successful vacation. The kitchen and especially outdoor kitchen were well equipped to easily cook nice dinners for a bigger group. The pool was very nice. The house was clean and the bathrooms looked completely renovated. The best part was the hospitality of the owners. Very welcoming people that know the answer to all your questions about the area. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the wonderful Meriggio Barn. The photos don’t do this gorgeous property justice! The house itself is beautiful, classically decorated and expansive space and very well equipped kitchen. All three bedrooms were a great size and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool . The house is set within beautiful rolling Tuscan hills with great views all around, enabling us to enjoy stunning sunsets every evening. The infinity pool was absolutely fantastic - a lot bigger than we expected and we had lots of fun relaxing and keeping cool in the water. The location is great - 40 mins to Pisa and the same for Florence, so we enjoyed visiting those cities as well as getting the train from Florence to Rome. Elisa and the owner Adolfo were perfect hosts, helping us swiftly with any questions we had or recommendations required (the tip to drive and park at the tram stop was perfect, as well as the recommendations for the best local pizza!). This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

Genka was the perfect host from start to finish, and the villa surpassed our expectations. Communication with Genka was great - he was quick to reply and gave us all the information we needed on the local area and beyond, even organising a taxi to take us to a local vineyard. The villa is beautiful and well-stocked with everything we needed. Genka had even thought to provide plenty of mosquito repellent for the house! Everything was clean and in good order and someone came each day to clean the pool (which we used a lot!). There are a couple of small shops and a supermarket close-by. The villa is situated on top of a hill, from which you can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset on the other side of the house in the evening. We will find it very hard not to book Genka's villa every year for our holiday! Grazie mille, Genka!

This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

Sabrina and Teresa greeted us at the gate of the villa when we arrived. Showed us around and were very responsive to us with any request during our stay. We had a relaxing and wonderful time. Many laughs, great meals, wine and a wonderful Villa with everything we needed and spectacular views. Thank you Sabrina and Theresa!!

Villa Frau was a dream to stay in, so close to Lucca and we found the day trips to Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Cinque Terre a breeze to drive. Katia was so helpful and friendly and a joy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!

We felt completely comfortable at Pina's. She is a super warm host. The house is ideally suited for many people. Our highlight was cooking pasta together with Pina and using the pizza oven. The outdoor area is beautiful and much more spacious than can be seen in the photos.

The biggest recommendation!!! We loved this place. The house is filled with various cozy areas, so there is plenty of shade, as we were travelling with small babies. We loved the outdoor seating area, and the pool area is more beautiful than the images shows. Only thing we would mention, is that there is a 10-15min drive uphill a very narrow road before you reach the house. It was not a problem for us, as we wanted to stay as much time as possible at the house. Other than that, Francesca was an amazing host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely come back another time!

Wonderful stay. Clean, spacious, nice pool. Well located, quiet area. A few small things like something too little stuff in the kitchen, the back door to the terrace is stuck and opens poorly and the hot water at the sink was not there. But those are small things. Overall definitely recommended. Oh, and successor's son and daughter-in-law, the gelateria at the top supermarket Essalunga is also a great tip. And furthermore, the osteria moderna in the Pescia stand is also recommended.
