Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! The places is perfect.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Beautiful place and great host

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

What a wonderful house! We were surprised to be so close to 2 lovely beaches, great hikes and a delicious restaurant. We’re a family with 3 young kids and they loved the swing, swinging bench, jacuzzi, space to play inside. Dimitris left a baby crib, high chair, and toddler potty for us which was super helpful. The best was Dimitris was very kind upon greeting us late at night when we arrived.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Nikos' place is incredible. It totally transports you to another time and lets you absorb the beauty of the Cretan landscape and nature. We noticed something new every day. Having the pool with stunning views of the mountains and sea, a well-equipped kitchen and an olive tree shaded seating area to eat in, meant we rarely had to leave the place! Beautiful, clean, and very responsive. The stay was as advertised. This home is well maintained, comfortable , and close to everything.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

Fantastic Villa for our family party. Spacious, well equipt and with lovely pool and view. There are nice (and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance too). Neighbourhood was peaceful. We felt very much at home, mainly due to the fantastic hosting. Georgia and Andreas are so friendly. Cheerful , beautiful people. They want to make every part of the stay special. Thank you both! ❤️

Words can’t describe how incredible this home is. Every corner you looked there was a masterpiece to be found. Beautifully decorated is an understatement, this Airbnb was curated over years and years of living. It was nested in the heart of the town. I will 100% be coming back. Wonderful stay! The location is incredible. It’s in a beautiful area with historic alleyways, very walkable but not right next to bars so it’s not very loud at night. There is some noise at night as people are walking home and sit outside, but nothing that prevented us from sleeping well. The space was very clean and perfect for our stay. Michalis was a wonderful host and made us feel very comfortable and took care of everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here!

Jeronimo is a really great host. Very, very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcome right away. The accommodation is beautifully located above the small Soudabucht with magnificent views. Two recommended taverns are within walking distance. Jeronimo's bar is also great and not to be missed. We can highly recommend the beautiful, simple but functional accommodation.

Everything was perfect

As someone who’s constantly traveling for both work and leisure, it’s rare to come across a place where everything is so well thought out that there’s nothing to comment on, in the best way. This is genuinely one of my favorite stays. The location and views are magical and the attention to detail across the property is impressive. The pool and garden were always perfectly maintained and for a mountain spot, it’s not easy to find such clear, bug-free water. The team on site was great, always helpful without being intrusive. The food at the restaurant isn’t fancy but it’s honest, home-cooked, and made with care. Thank you for everything, I’d definitely come back and already started recommending it to friends.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

Georgios and Tanja's place is beautiful - a tranquil haven in a lovely village nestled up in the hills but only a few minutes' drive from the coast. Our experience was exceptional from the outset, with Tanja being very accommodating of our late check-in (due to the late arrival of our flight) and welcoming us warmly on arrival. She offered us suggestions for things to do and places to eat during our stay and graciously allowed us a late check-out as well - again due to the late departure of our flights. The house itself is fantastic, beautifully appointed and with a lovely view of the valley. Kournas is a very picturesque village and the food at the local tavernas is fabulous, although the kitchen in the house has everything you need to cook should you wish to. I can't recommend Georgio and Tanja's place enough for a place to stay in Crete. Hopefully we'll make it back one day!

It was nice stay and very calm place. It had all the facilities as mentioned. Easy access to beaches and highways if you have a car.

A beautiful spotless private one bedroom lodging in a converted 300+ year detached building. Friendly local cats (which stayed outside!) The private pool was wonderul for cooling off. Giorgia and Dionysos were very welcoming and attentive, communicated with us from the start of the booking, with detailed instructions for finding their place. They offered great suggestions for local taxi (Platanias Taxi, highly recommend) and restaurants, things to do, etc. Only a few hundred meters walk to the beach, where we enjoyed delicious meals at Amaryllides and Thallasaki restaurants. A minimarket nearby provided basic necessities for breakfast etc. Bus tours picked us up on the main street nearby. Highly recommend staying here, would love to go back soon!

We wanted a place with a beautiful view, peaceful and with a pool. It was a wonderful place and we enjoyed the view, the sunset, the pool, the surroundings with walks. When we arrived we were delayed and Leonidas was absolutely wonderful and understanding. We received a warm welcome and felt very welcome. The house had water, wine, fruit, tea and coffee which really gave an extra feeling of welcome. We don't think we could have stayed in a better place. Close to great beaches in Kalivies and Almyrida. Beautiful surroundings and the sunset with home cooked dinner was a treat. Both Leonidas and Michalis were very friendly, warm and accommodating. It felt very safe and cozy in the house with a good atmosphere. We can definitely imagine coming back!
