House holiday rentals in Gilching

We spent an extended weekend in this beautiful and modern accommodation and felt completely comfortable. The absolute highlight was the indoor pool - in the rather bad weather it was just the thing to create a holiday feeling. The water temperature was constantly between 31 and 34 degrees, which made swimming particularly pleasant. The house was very clean. Mariola was very friendly and accommodating. She offered and provided us with a mobile baby bed, which we greatly appreciated. The sauna in the basement was also great, it needs a little while to get really warm, but if you have a little patience, it will be a really nice sauna experience. The size of the sauna allows several people to relax at the same time. Unfortunately, we could not really use the outdoor pool due to the weather, but in better weather this would certainly have been a highlight. All in all, a very nice stay.

The stay was super relaxed. The hosts very friendly and accommodating. We are happy to recommend it! Were mostly 4 in the accommodation, with 6 people it should be good and cozy. The sauna and the whirlpool rounded it all off perfectly 😊

The accommodation is highly recommended, the hosts Irina and Dominik were very friendly, nice and courteous! The city can be reached quickly and easily and even if you don't want to go to the city, the accommodation has everything you need to have relaxation or fun on site.

Janin is a very nice and accommodating landlady. The house was great and just right for the weekend of our bachelor party. Absolutely again ☺️

Lovely home with beautiful yard to enjoy. Home is within a 10-15 minute walk of store and train to Munich.

The house is very clean , the location is quite good near the centre around 20mins .

We had a great stay at Markus's. Our hosts were super accurate and communicative before we arrived. The huge blue sky has accompanied us all week to discover this beautiful area, what a lovely week with the family!

Katharina’s house was very nice and had everything we needed. There is someone living in an attached unit so we could hear them when we were in the kitchen/dining room area. We felt like we had to be super quiet when we were in there.

We had a really wonderful time in a great setting. The house is great and exactly met our expectations. The communication was really flawless and Sarah was always helpful with every little question. Thank you so much for a great time and a unique place to stay!

Uli's accommodation was perfect for us - 4 couples and a toddler! We were looking for a place to stay super spontaneously and were happy to have found such an incredibly beautiful place to stay, and then such a super nice hostess! The beds were as comfortable as everyone had already written and the layout of the house and the garden was simply great!

We loved our stay here. Walking distance from the train which made accessing Munich very easy. A beautiful residential street with great surrounding pubs and cafes. We would absolutely recommend to our family and friends

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Munich! The space was spotless, comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation, great restaurants, and charming neighborhoods. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again the next time we’re in Munich. Dreamy, free-standing old cottage in which you immediately feel comfortable and have your peace. Beautiful idyllic garden. Well located to walk to the lake and to the restaurants if you want to leave the car in the PP. Annette is very friendly and communication was easy. The many rooms and beds are ideal, comfortable and very clean. It has 1 shower and 2 toilets, all very clean. I will be happy to book this house for us again.

With one laughing and one wistful eye, we look back on our stay with Georg and Gisela. Nostalgic, because time passed too quickly and we could have stayed forever... A week was simply too short! Laughing, because it was so beautiful and we are already looking forward to our next visit to Waltersberg. We can only agree with all the previous great reviews. Georg and Gisela are wonderful hosts, as they could not be better: attentive, warm, helpful and in short people to like. The house was charming, cozy, sparkling clean and well-equipped as expected, the beautiful garden very idyllic, full of flowers and well maintained, the charming surroundings and the short distances to the most beautiful mountain and lake landscapes are worth a trip anyway. The house is charming and thoughtfully arranged, with so much care in every detail. The surrounding nature is pure serenity — birdsong, stillness, and the lake just a short walk away. It’s a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the moment. A very special thank you to Sarah and Thomas, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay at Rainer’s home during our trip to Munich. The property is spacious, newly renovated, and beautifully furnished with a warm, inviting interior that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the large, well-maintained backyard—our kids absolutely loved playing there, and it provided a perfect space for us to relax. The home is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to scenic walking trails, which we enjoyed exploring as a family. There was also plenty of parking space available, which made things very convenient. Rainer was a wonderful host—attentive, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and offered great local recommendations. Overall, this was a truly enjoyable and comfortable stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend Rainer’s home to anyone visiting Munich and surrounding area.

Ludwig was always readily available and responsive. His home was nice,clean, and very livable. It made for a nice home base to explore Bavaria.

We (2 adults, 1 child) stayed in the accommodation for a week. The rooms are definitely bigger than they look in the pictures. We felt immediately comfortable and often relaxed in the sauna. By car, we were flexible and quickly reached our destinations. We highly recommend the vacation rental for relaxing.

We had a lovely stay. The accommodation offers everything you need and with sauna, jacuzzi and pool table or barbecue also a nice change for everyday life. As a suggestion for improvement, only a privacy screen in the "spa area", as it is somewhat insightful due to the neighboring houses. All in all, we felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the accommodation because of its amenities and also because of its location. Communication with Manuela was flawless.

It was a really nice experience. We enjoyed it and the kids loved their rooms and the special gift from Petra :) thank you.

After traveling through the UK for 10 days (staying in hotels), Achim's beautiful home was just what my family of 4 (with 2 adult children) needed. House was spacious, lots of natural light, and super clean and comfortable. We were visiting family in Haimhausen and it was a quick 5 minute drive. Munich airport was an easy 20 mins away. The host went out of their way to make sure to greet us upon arrival to show us how everything worked and thoughtfully left some things for us to eat/drink. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit Bavaria!
