The hillside situation guarantees a wonderful view on the surrounding nature and Burghausen with its famous castle. Burghausen`s Old Town is reachable in few minutes by feet, car or bike, also the Wöhr-Lake with its bathing beach. (about 2km) Salzburg is reachable by car in under an hour.

The wash house

The washhouse is located on the Schacherbauer farm overlooking the orchard. It is minimalist, but high quality and lovingly furnished, with shower, toilet, large comfortable sofa bed, ample storage space and a large terrace. The new wood-burning sauna can be used at an additional cost. (up to 6-8 people) On the farm there are numerous animals, a café and a shop. Both are open on Friday afternoon. Located in Franking, 'Chalet Franking' has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The 2-storey property consists of a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can accommodate 6 people. The chalet features Wi-Fi as well heating, a satellite TV, and a washing machine. Children are allowed.
