We are a family homestead who built a one room straw bale house finished with clay plaster from our land. We invite you to come enjoy nature in our little oasis. The space is heated with the help of both a rocket stove and abundant natural sunlight. You'll also have access to an outdoor kitchen, a campfire site and a composting toilet. While it is fairly private, the cabin is located amidst other homes in our little ecovillage. It is not tucked away in the woods. We look forward to hosting you!

Approach through a protected tree-lined lane our hand-cut log cabin. 3 levels, a soaring 18-foot ceiling, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and office. Double porches, gazebo, kayaks + SUPs, fishing tackle, swings, open yard, canoe + boat launch. Espresso maker, state-of-the-art appliances. And our 3 horses walk the property’s perimeter within their track. Our home is yours! (But the horses are not to be touched - only admired!)

Glamping at its absolute finest. This glass mirror cabin allows for amazing panoramic views. Unwind in the outdoor two-person cedar sauna, relax in a cedar wood burning hot tub that also doubles as a cold plunge, cook on a Pyro Tower grill and pizza oven combo (Pizza dough, sauce, cheese, and pepperonis included), enjoy the tranquil natural stone water feature, warm up by the outdoor fireplace, pollinator garden attracting butterflies/hummingbirds. Black out curtains provide privacy at night.

Soak in the cedar wood burning hot tub/cold plunge. Unwind in your private Sauna. Relax by a firepit with a pizza oven (dough, cheese, sauce, pepperoni supplied). Find some peace along the natural spring in the mediation/breathwork area. Hike/Bike on the trails. Put your feet up for a lovely outdoor projector movie night. River Bend Retreat is a self-guided wellness retreat that allows 2 guests to destress, reconnect to nature, and truly experience deep rejuvenation of mind, body, and spirit.

Want total visual privacy of a 7.5 acre retreat with wooded gardens, and the convenience of being only 10-15 minutes from groceries, cafes, coffee shops, shopping, & golfing? This hexagonal cedar home has a cozy lodge feel inside, with large window views of landscaped gardens including hundreds azaleas that bloom each spring. The family room and 3 bedrooms have sliding glass doors that open onto a wrap-around deck that brings the peacefulness of nature into the home. Rediscover relaxation!

Tranquil Haven: Secluded Retreat

Venture deep into the forest and discover Tranquil Haven, a secluded cabin nestled in 800+ Acres of woods and nature, with no other neighbors around. If you want to unplug, connect with nature, and have a peacful, serene retreat, this is the perfect place. Upon arrival, you will drive about 1-2 miles on a dirt and gravel road to the cabin whe you will have a tranquil escape. Wake to birdsong, breathe in the fresh woodland air, stargaze beneath vast night skies, and gather around the bonfire.

Nestled on a picturesque 300+ acre tree nursery, the 20 acre lake and 2 stocked ponds provide breathtaking views for your next stay. The Cabin At Watkins is the perfect place to relax and unwind with lakefront accommodations for up to 10 guests. During your stay check out The Market At Watkins, our on site farmer's market open from April - November, serene overlook and firepit area above the creek, and don't forget to ask about adding on exclusive rights to hunt and fish during your stay.
