This is going to be our family's new winter getaway. The setting was beautiful and quiet and the comfort of the place was exactly what we were hoping for!

Great cabin, huge back deck, walking trails behind it. Very close to lake. 2 min walk from front stairs. Close to camp store and camp restaurant

Loved the property and the cabin!

We needed to get out of town, and this place was wayyyy out of town. up the mountain. super windy, steep road. but even with the curves and turns, once we were in the mountain, it was so beautiful. we also had a surprise SNOWFALL and it was soooo fun!

Not far from town so you’ll still have to hear traffic from the door which is directly across from the property.

I was only here for one night, but what a beautiful place to arrive to. Tucked quietly in the woods, it offered exactly what I needed: stillness, privacy, and deep rest. Even though I arrived late, I felt immediately held by the trees and the land around the cabin. It’s simple, natural, and off the grid in all the best ways—the kind of quiet that resets something in you. A helpful tip: if you arrive at night, especially in colder months, it may be chilly inside at first. You’ll want to start a fire in the stove to warm up the space—it’s worth it. If you’re looking to get away from everything and return to yourself, this is the kind of place that will meet you where you are.

The place was cozy and the hot tub was definitely appreciated. The place felt private and was still close to town. Will definitely rebook in the future.

Evan was responsive and flexible. Appreciated being able to check in early our first day. Written directions helpful for finding cabin. Easy check in and check out process. Clean and had everything we needed. View of Mt Ashland from the back deck/hot tub is fantastic!

What a kind host! The lodge in O’Brian had a great layout, the space was just right and location was great. We traveled in to Cave Junction and it was an easy drive down to the Redwoods. There was also a nice walking path at the Lodge great for my children to explore. A large kitchen with enough chairs made family meals easy. Thank you.

Lovely location and comfy bed. Wi-Fi worked well for remote work and the neighbors were kind and welcoming. Will book again if available when I’m wandering through.

We came to Jacksonville from Los Angeles to attend a friend's wedding. Kendra's listing was the perfect place for us. It was easy to find as long as you follow their instructions. Google Maps hasn't quite caught up yet with the right way to find the house. The house is at the top of a hill so expect about a mile of dirt road before you get to it. Once there it's the perfect serene location and we were overlooking the city so beautifully. The space is clean and orderly and had everything we needed. We cooked most meals there and played scrabble through the evening. It's only about 10 minutes to downtown by car. Highly recommend this listing! Thank you Kendra and family for the perfect stay!

This was our 4th stay at Whispering Pines Cabin. As birders/naturalists, this location is a perfect base for our nature explorations. Most springs we don't even have to leave the cabin to listen to and/or see a great variety of birds! The cabin is always spotlessly clean and usually has everything we need in terms of kitchen and bathroom supplies. We do bring all of our own food because the nearest full-scale grocery store is a 45-minute drive down the mountain. The fenced backyard is great for taking our dog out for her "constitutionals". The screened in porch is one of the cabin's best features. Sitting out there on a sunny morning listening to the birdsong is heaven.

This was our second visit. Anthony was a gracious host. He even brought us homemade butter and fresh laid eggs! Beautiful nature alll around us. A peaceful place for a break from the real world and time with family. This place has everything you need. Love it and will be back in the fall! No better place! Thank you again!

The place was very clean and well set up. Our hosts were very nice and very responsive. We didn't have any issues with privacy at all. The deck outside was very relaxing. The pellet stove gave it a great feeling of coziness. The kitchen is stocked with the things you would regularly need but bring any item you think you can't live without such as a cheese grater. The bedding was so soft and the bed was comfortable. The toilet is a composting toilet but don't let that stop you. It was easy to use. We saw deer and turkeys. This was a very relaxing stay and we would stay here again

Amazing remote location that allowed for a peaceful getaway. The ranch was great for exploring, and just a beautiful property. Airbnb unit was a cozy, clean a-frame. We wish we had more time here, but hope to stay again in the future!

This place is great for a family stay especially in the summer time. Its quiet and relaxing.. The river is right across the street and its about 3 minutes from a great swim hole. Close to a historic town and close to the lake which every way you decide to go.

A gem of an AirBnB. Absolutely beautiful cabin. Warm, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful yard front and back. Great communication. I could go on and on and on. Already planning another trip in the area and hope to come back to exactly this cabin. Both thumbs up.

Great place with a creek behind it and super outdoor spaces. We staged here before a Rogue river trip and it was ideal.

Loved the property!! The property is modern, clean, and close to nature. Has rogue river in the backyard which is super cool. A must stay property if you are looking for good, clean, and peaceful place. It felt like home away from home.

Amazing cabin and winery! The cabin was perfect. It is very cosy with great forest views (even had deer walking by). It is located on a beautiful winery with outstanding wines...one of best tempranillos we've had! It's also walkable to a few other fun wineries and lots more just a short drive. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. I'd highly recommend checking this place and wines out.

amazing! had such an amazing time. so relaxing and beautiful. we absolutely enjoyed every minute and it was hard to leave! Definitely will be back soon and hopefully for a longer time!

The cabin was in a great location with lots to do! The cabin itself is very comfortable with everything you need for a more than comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the place was clean and comfortable with lots of entertainment. I appreciated the recommended day trip, definitely worth doing! Plus the local falls and hike was fun. Easy access to Crater Lake. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cute little cabin!

My stay at the cabin was amazing! If you're looking for peace and quiet and a chance to connect with nature, this is the perfect spot. I loved hiking, enjoying the creek, and reading on the front porch. It was so restful to sit and listen to the birds and watch the goats and cows as they roamed around the ranch. Julie and Andy were wonderful hosts and suggested some great off-property activities. My personal favorites were hiking Upper Table Rock (followed by a flight and lunch at Kriselle Cellars) and spending an afternoon in cute downtown Ashland. It's also a great jumping-off point for Crater Lake. I absolutely recommend the cabin at Sunnybrook Ranch for anyone who is looking for a tranquil getaway!

Big Little Tree cabin is now my very favorite cabin…and we have stayed in many. It is nestled in the woods , so is it very peaceful and quiet there. And, most importantly, it is entirely built from scratch and everything in it is made of some beautiful variety of wood, even the handles on all of the cabinets . And Janna and Steve have supplied the cabin with anything one would need. And they are both very friendly and helpful people. Also, this is an area with many outdoor activities waiting to be explored. Crater Lake National Park, mountain and river hikes, waterfalls, etc. We hope to be able to rent Big Little Tree cabin again next year!
