Our beautiful, elaborately renovated Gulf house invites everyone seeking tranquility and relaxation. The village (Loquard) we live in is located between Emden and Greetsiel and allows excursions to the East Frisian islands or to the coast only 1.7 km away. Extensive bike tours can also be taken along the North Sea coast or you can simply relax with a book under our beautiful apple tree. The house is designed for 2 people and is not suitable for pets!

The way to the small "secret" beach by car: Drive from Rysum to Emden, turn right towards KNOCK, to the end of the road (BEACH UST), park your car and walk north by the water...

The listed house was extensively renovated in 2020/21 with a lot of love. The tastefully furnished house has lost none of its charm and originality. Witnesses to its old age are the original parquet and plank floors in the living rooms and bedrooms and terrazzo floors in the kitchen. The house is very carefully furnished with beautiful softwood antiques. In sunshine, life takes place outside on the terrace in the enclosed garden.

Here you can simply switch off, relax in the fully equipped and cozy house, enjoy nature and sauna in the garden, stroll in the city center in ten minutes or simply drive to the sea (about 7 km to the beach). The accommodation is only rented out temporarily for a few weeks a year, as it is my own main apartment (private living space).

It is located in the quiet village of Loquard. It is about 2 km to the dike edge, 1 km to the baker (Rysum), 11 km to other shopping (Pewsum) or 12 km (Emden) The Tidehuus is a good starting point for extensive bike tours in East Frisia.

The 'Meerliebe' is ideal for 6 people. For children, special amenities such as a high chair, travel bed and dishes are provided. The bedrooms offer box spring beds, while the bathrooms are equipped with luxurious details such as an infrared deep heat cabin. Quiet yet close to the center in the north. A wood-burning stove provides charming coziness on gray days. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dogs in this property.
