House holiday rentals in Groningen

The chalet of Dewi is beautiful, clean/tidy, and well located. The beds slept wonderfully. We visited it in the winter, it always took a while for it to get warm. But that was not really important to us, because we were always visiting friends. The cottage was great for us as a place to stay and base.

my husband, two sons, and partners stayed. Lots of room, a beautiful home ,one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in, a home from home. Very relaxing, we were sad to leave but will return.

We (my girlfriend, 1.5-year-old daughter and I) had a great stay. Spacious cottage with beautiful large windows through which lots of light comes in. Beautiful outdoor set with green egg BBQ and a wonderful jacuzzi for when the little one was in bed. The park itself is very tidy with plenty of space between the camping spots. The cottages were not all finished/in use yet but ours was right next to the playground which was great with our daughter. The jacuzzi has poles around it, so you can sit there privately, but if the other cottages are put into use, you could still use some shelter. There is much to do in the area. Assen and Groningen are a short drive away. The village has the necessary restaurants and you can walk and cycle nearby. In short, we had a wonderful May vacation. Recommended!

The area was very quiet and family oriented. Bed linen was available on site, which saves a lot of space in the luggage. There is also a coffee machine with pods. The staff were super friendly and the host himself was available for inquiries in a timely manner. You feel like home. We were very pleased with the stay.

Really nice place with a mountain cabin feeling. It is Really cosy and we felt at home as soon as we waked in. The surrounding lake is a perfect place to spend the day, an unexpected landscape in Netherland.

Beautiful and fully equipped house with garden on the water in a quiet new residential area just outside Groningen. Living room with kitchen and beautiful cooking island. 3 bedrooms and bathroom with bath. Several outdoor seats with, among other things, a beautiful view of the Woldmeer and a jacuzzi. Lots of privacy. Especially nice hostess and host, who are flexible and respond quickly. Our grandchildren had a great time with the two cats that live there.

2 nights in the middle of Groningen. Everything in the city center in walking distance. Cute nice cottage where we had a great stay with 4 ladies. It was a bit warm upstairs this weekend. But that was it in the whole city. Nice and cool downstairs. Cottage has a well-equipped kitchenette and nice shower if you want. Parking is available within walking distance at various Q-park garages or via ParkBee.

Beautiful house with a very nice garden. Upon arrival there were welcome drinks and tasty stroopwafels, which was a nice surprise. There are two cats that you have to take care of and a very beautiful large garden with lots of flowers, you are expected to water the garden daily, especially in good weather. With our schedule we were able to do that every other day, because we were very busy. Inge is very thoughtful, the washing machine broke and the same day there was a new one. The only disadvantage we found was the smell of the cat food because it is cat food from can. They have a separate room for the cats, so you can put the food there as well. We were actually only there to sleep and have breakfast so unfortunately we were not able to fully enjoy the house, but it is recommended if you don't mind taking care of cats and a garden.

We spent a month here bridging between two homes. We had a very good stay here in a beautiful place. Surrounded by the beautiful nature and the many animals. Our cats were also allowed to join us, which was very nice. An oasis of peace that we can definitely recommend.

The place was great. The apartment is very nice. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, all in all it was great! The communication went great, she always responded very quickly! Glad to come back!

Four of us (2 adults plus 2 small children) spent a week in Tamara's house. It is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. Also, everything you need is there. Our children were particularly enthusiastic about the many toys and the big trampoline in the garden. The immediate surroundings are great for running or cycling. A really special place with great amenities, which we would 100% recommend. You should be aware that as a guest you have to take over the final cleaning of the entire house (including washing of towels etc. ) yourself.

It was a good stay at Inez's place! Nice cottage, more fun than in the photos. Nice bed, nice kitchen with everything you need. In the middle of the meadows and within walking distance a mini village. Had a delicious breakfast on request and even got delicious oliebollen from Inez on New Year's Eve! Highly recommendable :)

The kitchen lacks an oven, as mentioned in the listing, but the gas grill enables enjoyable outdoor cooking. The property feels private despite nearby vacation homes, thanks to lush vegetation. A short walk from parking is required to get to the house, transported cases and purchases with a wheelbarrow. The upstairs bedrooms have low ceilings, while the bright living area opens to a lovely garden. Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby lake view and bird-watching opportunities. Though the dock in front of the house isn't suitable for swimming, a swimming area is just 100 meters away, also perfect for water activities. Provided bicycles allow for easy exploration of the surroundings. This home offers an authentic experience in a natural setting, providing a refreshing alternative to standard rentals and a true connection to the environment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The residential area is super nice and very quiet. Right outside the front door is a beautiful small beach and a jetty with access to the water. It is a bit away from Groningen, but easily accessible by car via Park + Ride, bus. The house was mostly clean. I can recommend staying here for a few days :)

We thank Marisa & Roland for this great accommodation. As a family with a small child, we spent a wonderful week in this really great cottage. The contact with the two was super nice, the check-in and check-out very uncomplicated and the house with terrace on the water just great. The terrace by the water is made childproof with a fence. The house is furnished with a lot of attention to detail and we lacked nothing. Cot and high chair/Trip Trap were provided to us. Even on a rainy morning, it was totally cozy just to stay at home. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace directly on the water. The location is very quiet, the house is located directly on a foothill of the Zuidlaardermeer. The next town is super accessible by bike or car. Bike tours to Groningen, excursions to the nearby Drenthe A National Park or water activities on the Zuidlaardermeer are possible.

Really great location and served us well for 3 nights. Tidy and well maintained.

We had a great time at Floortje's place! No real issues at all! When we had an issue with the trash bin that broke, they offered to replace it right away and let us know that it was old and would need replacing soon anyway. Really nice and patient people. The place is very spacious and comfortable, and well equipped. Just a small heads up for people with a lot of luggage or elderly folk: it has a lot of stairs and the steps are a bit a narrow.

We were allowed to stay in Sterre's beautiful apartment for 5 weeks. We felt right at home in the luxurious and comfortable house. You walk straight into Westerhaven and the nearest supermarket is about a 5-minute walk away. The City Park is also around the corner! Recommended!

Absolutely stunning place would 100% recommend for a relaxing stay!
