A lovely, cozy (complete privacy) vacation home in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district; you will be staying with the harbor master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam corn mill. Come here to relax with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle; you will find peace and quiet here, and you will be awakened by the titmouses, blackbirds, and sparrows (sometimes on Sundays by the church bells). Bicycles available! There are also beautiful ATB routes nearby that you can try out. You can do shopping in the village itself. If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

Romantic, heated, spacious shepherd's hut with bathroom, toilet and kitchen. Cosy box-bed, comfortable couch, TV incl. Netflix and Amazon Prime. In Summer the (shared) pool can be used by guests. The jacuzzi can be booked separately for €30 per 2 h. All in the peaceful countryside with a view of storks in the season. All you need for the perfect getaway can be found here or in the area. The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

The Carriage House near Leeuwarden

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

A maximum of 2 vehicles are allowed in the Arkenpark.
