Very nice accomodation, good and friendly restaurant and very interesting to see the ecological cacao plantation process, which is an example in its kind. Worth visiting!

Roy was very responsive, helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful with great trails and a tower to watch the sunset. The hammock and the friendly dogs on the property were a nice perk! Definitely would recommend this place!

We were not expecting to find such a magical Place like this, Is One of the cases were reality Is way Better than any pictures or descriptions. The cacao plantations are beatiful, the food Is Amazing and the room Is clean and comfortable. If you pass by, you Need to spend at least One night here!

Sehr großer offener Raum, naturnah, einfach, aber in besonderer Weise eingerichtet, mit bis zu 15 Schlafplätzen für eine Familie/Gruppe. Weiter hervorzuheben sind das leckere lokale Frühstück sowie der direkte Zugang zum zu unserer Jahreszeit (Ende März) himmelblauen Rio Celeste. Gute Kommunikation und freundlicher Empfang, insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

This place is an absolute gem! The views of the lake Arenal are fantastic and the house has a charm that the pictures don't do it justice. You have see it in person to appreciate the place. Patrick and his wife were excellent hosts, very helpful with anything we needed. The house is minutes to Nuevo Arenal, lake Arenal and lake Cote, one hour and a half from La Fortuna in one direction and from Tenorio Volcan with Rio Celeste in another direction. e Excellent location to have for a base and visit a large area. Thank you for hosting us and we will be back!

Wir waren nur eine Nacht hier. Der Check In lief absolut problemlos, wir konnten sogar zwei Stunden früher einchecken. Es ist eher ein Hotel, es war immer super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal vor Ort! Die Zimmer sind hellhörig, der Boden hat größere Spalte unter das Haus… das nutzen die Kakerlaken gerne aus, um in die Zimmer, besonders in das Badezimmer, zu gelangen. Man muss sagen, dass die einzigen lebenden Exemplare draußen und im Dunkeln aufgetaucht sind! Im Zimmer lagen nur in der Dusche zwei tote Exemplare. In das (saubere) Bett, was uns besonders wichtig war, hat sich die ganze Nacht keine verirrt. Dafür haben wir abends Fledermäuse aus dem Dach vor unserem Zimmer wegfliegen gesehen & gehört. :-) Den Hoteleigenen Spà mit Hot&Cold Tube, den Schokoldenworkshop und eine eigenverantwortliche Wanderung durch die Plantage können wir ebenfalls sehr empfehlen!

I went with my 2 daughters (age 16 & 20) and we had a great time! The villa was beautiful, comfortable, and very well appointed. The view was incredible and just sitting on the porch listening to and watching the wildlife was the perfect way to relax. The fresh, local, organic food cooked by the staff was amazing! We enjoyed the pool, and a cold plunge in the spa. The gym was nice for a workout too. It’s about 20 mins to the towns and beaches in and around Nosara from the remote location up on the mountain so you aren’t popping in and out, but we planned ahead when we were spending time off site so it wasn’t a problem. The remote location made it special. Oh and the staff were all super friendly and accommodating! We highly recommend staying here.

I’m not sure where to even start. This place is one of a kind and if you have the opportunity to stay- you must! The views were absolutely incredible. We’d wake up early on a morning and see toucans flying in the trees below. Yami was also an incredible host and very helpful when needed!

This accommodation was absolutely unique and exceeded all expectations with its quirky cool rooms, impeccable cleanliness, outstanding service from Travis and his team, and a perfect location - Travis took us out on his boats for a day of snorkeling, swimming and island hopping, a 5-star boat experience from start to finish, definitely will recommend.

Nos pareció un lugar muy bonito, y tranquilo. Una propiedad muy grande y con mucha naturaleza. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado. Tiene todo lo necesario. Tal y como se ve en las fotos. Definitivamente vamos a volver. Gracias Adriana y familia por su hospitalidad.

Ubicado en Río Celeste, cerca del Volcán Tenorio y también de Guatuso, con mucha privacidad es una quinta hermosa donde se tiene un acercamiento muy hermoso con la naturaleza. La cabaña contaba con todo lo necesario para pasar un tiempo tranquilo y no queda lejos de la calle principal.

Great place, awesome for kids with pool and to explore around. Beach is 5 min by car and place is very clean and comfortable.

This bed and breakfast is in an amazingly beautiful location. Although we had rainy and cold weather, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the area, and it’s quite close to Selvatura Park. The value for the room is incredible - we could only imagine the views if the weather had been good for us (see reviews about the view when the weather is clear). Lastly, ask for extra blankets if the weather is rainy/cold, as the rooms aren’t heated. As the reviews state, the banana pancakes and coffee are amazing. Beautiful place!!!

Hospedarme con Sandra fue una experiencia muy cálida y auténtica. La habitación estaba limpia, cómoda y perfecta para descansar, pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue la hospitalidad con la que me recibieron. Me ofrecieron desayuno sin costo, lo cual fue un gesto muy generoso y se sintió como estar en casa. La comunicación fue excelente y siempre estuvieron atentos a que me sintiera bien. Recomiendo su alojamiento a quienes busquen una estadía sencilla, cuidada y con mucho corazón. ¡Gracias por todo, Sandra!

We had a fantastic stay at Finca Amidstad. The onsite cacao workshop was incredible. The fresh juice for breakfast was delicious. Julian and the staff were very friendly and we’ll absolutely stay here again in the future. Thanks for everything!!

Gary’s place has a great little vibe. Super chill and friendly. The accommodations are basic but have everything you need. The pool is lovely with lush landscaping around the pool and a couple of hammocks for relaxing and napping.

We absolutely loved our stay at this unique Airbnb in Rio Celeste! One of the highlights was having private access to the stunning Rio Celeste river — peaceful, vibrant, and truly breathtaking. It felt like our own hidden paradise. The room was cozy and comfortable, especially for the price — a great value for such a special experience. The whole stay was memorable, and we found ourselves wishing we had booked one more night to explore more of the area. Breakfast in the morning was a treat — a delicious, traditional Costa Rican meal prepared by the host that added a warm, personal touch to our stay. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a tranquil, one-of-a-kind getaway in nature.

The room was clean and in great conditio, water, AC, everything ran as it should. The pool area and garden was maintained perfectly. I don't know if we were the only ones (despite seeing several cars in the parking area), but it was very quiet and peaceful. The host very attentive. Great place to stay.
