The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås. You have the staff cage to yourselves. Cozy decorated and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer snowshoeing and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Idyllic annex in scenic surroundings, with stunning views of Hallingdal. The annex is located by itself on the outskirts of farm. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Distance to Solseter with marked trails is 1 km. Golsfjellet is a mile away. The cabin consists of kitchen with wood stove +2 hot plates, bathroom with shower cubicle and earth toilet, loft and living room with double sofa bed. Heated with wood and electricity. It is possible to rent bed linen for 75 kr per set. Private parking outside the cabin.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

An hour's drive from Lillehammer is Viken Fjellgård by the lake Espedalsvatnet. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the stove, a hot drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a hike, ice fishing, build a fire, make a snow cave and a snow lantern, or just look at the stars, this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes here. The trails begin right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the hike on the high mountains.
