Veslebui is a cosy little mountain cabin, perfect for those looking for a simple and authentic mountain experience. The cabin has electricity, a practical kitchenette and fantastic views of Lake Tyin, which can be enjoyed directly from both the dining area and the living space. The cabin combines dining, seating and sleeping areas in one open room. It accommodates up to 3 guests, but is most comfortable for 2 adults or a small family. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meal preparation and includes a hot plate, kettle, refrigerator and essential cooking equipment. Please note that there is no running water in the cabin. Bathrooms, toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities are available in our shared service building, located just 50 metres from the cabin. Duvets and pillows are provided. Guests may bring their own bed linen or rent it for NOK 150 per person. Veslebui is located above the tree line, surrounded by open mountain landscapes, spectacular views, fresh mountain air and excellent hiking opportunities right outside the door.

The cabin is located at Viken Fjellgård, an hour from Lillehammer, right by the idyllic Espedalsvatnet, 720 meters above sea level, and Langsua National Park. Here you can find peace and quiet, swim, paddle, visit mines, or go for walks. It is a short distance to the high mountains with many hiking opportunities, or you can walk from the farm along the water, on trails in the woods and fields. There is a cozy outdoor area with a fire pit on the jetty by the boathouse, and there is a swimming beach on the other side. Our guests can use our two boats and canoe freely, and we lend out two fishing rods.

The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The family cabin «Lattermild» has all the amenities. Parking right outside the cabin. The price includes bed linen/towel and firewood. The cabin is located in a free area, little insight, has good sun conditions and views of the mountains and Savalsjøen. Nice hiking trails both on foot, skiing and cycling. Savalsjøen is excellent for swimming, fishing/ice fishing, canoeing. Cross-country skiing right outside the cabin. 5 min by car to alpine facilities, ice rink and Nissehuset/hotel. 15 min walk. The field has a road barrier; NOK 80 to drive in, pay via app.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.
