New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

Hiking right outside the door, everything from easy hikes in flat terrain on the way to many peaks of 2000 meters. 230 waters and 250km. rivers to fish in. Opplev nydelig natur på koselig seterhytte! Hytta er plassert i utkanten av skogen med utsikt over hele Østre Gausdal. Masse turmuligheter både sommer og vinter rett fra døra. Ca 1 km på ski gjennom skogen til løypenettet til Skeikampen. Hytta har 5 soveplasser, pluss sprinkelseng, utstyrt kjøkken, varmepumpe, vedovn og oppvask- og vaskemaskin. Sengetøy og håndklær inkl. Må ha 4x4 på vinter. 15 min til sentrum og Skeikampen, 30 min til Lillehammer og 45 min til Hunderfossen.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.

The house is 200 years old, newly renovated and modernized. All fascilities included. The house has access to the beach within short distance. The closest grocery store is 3 minutes drive.
