Fjellro is a cabin with an incredibly great location and spectacular views towards Vågvatnet and Jotunheimen. The cabin is a good starting point for mountain hikes to some of Norway's most famous mountains. Galdhøpiggen, Glittertind and Besseggen to mention a few. The cabin is romantic with a fireplace and a character that allows you to lower your shoulders and new calm. The cabin is located by itself on my small small farm with sun from morning to evening. Private sheltered patio. Make memories for a lifetime in this unique and family-friendly space.

Cozy decorated and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer snowshoeing and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

An hour's drive from Lillehammer is Viken Fjellgård by the lake Espedalsvatnet. And if you want to enjoy yourself indoors with a fire in the stove, a hot drink, a good book or a game, or if you want to go skiing, go for a walk on snowshoes, a hike, ice fishing, build a fire, make a snow cave and a snow lantern, or just look at the stars, this can be the place. There are miles of prepared ski slopes here. The trails begin right outside the farm, or you can drive a short distance to start the hike on the high mountains.

Visit us in the mountains, at almost 1100 meters above sea level, and find tranquility.. Enjoy stunning views, hike (skiing or snowshoeing in winter) and finish with a delicious bath in Tyin. In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost). Welcome to Helin, a beautiful mountain area with cottages and mountain farms. It is a fabulous area for hiking, biking and skiing.
