Apartment holiday rentals in Hafnarfjörður

We loved the view and being just outside of the city. The apt. was super clean and comfortable, and parking was easy. Excellent stay!

Björgvin reagiert schnell auf Nachrichten und hat flexibel und freundlich auf unsere veränderten Anreisezeiten reagiert. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ruhig, auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzt man gut. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet. Für Netflix-Fans sind der Gastzugang und das große TV-Gerät sicherlich von Vorteil. In der Küche fehlten uns ein paar Kochutensilien. Für Besucher, die eher Essen gehen wohl nicht relevant. Ich empfehle Björgvin als Gastgeber.

We had a perfect family vacation at Karitas' apartment! The location is excellent—within 15 minutes walking distance of downtown Reykjavík. The apartment itself is modern, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you need. Karitas was an amazing host, always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

New, well stocked accommodations with a gorgeous view. Underground parking was a huge plus. Some construction in the area and not much around. But the stay was absolutely perfect.

Ottar’s apartment was perfect for my stay - I was able to prepare some meals there and not have to dine out all the time. A grocery store is a short walk and finding parking was easy. The apartment is clean and in a quiet neighborhood, which made for a pleasant stay. Óttar was flexible on check-in time and was quick to respond to my questions. A good host and a comfortable, conveniently located apartment!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in Gesturs Wohnung! Lage und Erreichbarkeit war mit einem Auto super, Check in über Schlüsselbox problemlos. Die Wohnung war sauber und gut ausgestattet - für uns als fünfköpfige Familie ideal. Nach Reykjavik mit dem Auto etwa 15-20 Minuten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nahbei. Alle unserer gewünschten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Island waren mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Gestur war gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir würden wiederkommen!!

We had a great stay and highly recommended. The home was perfect for our family of 3. Hosts responded to all our questions and beds were comfy!!! Not a negative at all but if you are a light sleeper, like I am, bring ear plugs. Slightest of road noise from highway in the distance but not a deal breaker by any means. We LOVED OUR STAY!!

we enjoyed our stay at Lovisa's, the place was just as described and had everything we needed! she was very nice and welcomed us when we arrived and showed us how everything works in the studio. They were available to us if we ever needed anything or any questions! We would highly recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavik!

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

Pétur's place was perfect. It is like 20 minutes to downtown. There is a grocery store within walking distance. Cozy and perfect. We spent all evening listening to music and sitting on the couch, recounting our adventures. When we had a scare with parking, Pétur responded almost instantly (despite it being almost midnight). He left books on the table with information and recommendations for all of Iceland. I can not reccomend Pétur and his home enough.

Nice apartment, has everything we need for our stay. Host responded quickly to our request. Would recommend.

Para mí fue de los mejores lugares en los que me hospedé alguna vez! La ubicación no fue la mejores lugar para mí ya que estaba sin auto y estaba entre 2 y 4 kilómetros de distancia de los puntos a los que tenía que ir para las actividades o del centro de la ciudad. No hay mucho en esa zona. Frente al departamento hay un local de hamburguesas y eso es todo lo que vi. De todas maneras para mí la casa es hermosa y me sentí súper acompañada por Satsu, la gatita. Dormía la siesta conmigo y pasábamos las tardes y noches juntas! Ya la extraño 😭😭. La cama es súper cómoda, el sillón para dormir una siesta ahí también. La televisión es genial y tiene Netflix, youtube, etc 🙏. La verdad me sentí más cómoda que en mi propia casa 😂😂. Si alguna vez vuelvo, no dudaré en intentar hospedarme allí. Y si piensan en hospedarse ahí, cuiden a Satsu y trátenla con amor que es demasiado buena 💗

Anna was very responsive and the apartment was great. It was in a great spot and I would recommend it here especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again. She also provided many amenities.

Tina was a great host, very responsive and answered all questions fast. The place was very clean. The location is great for those who have rented their own car and want to do day trips from Reykjavík and skip the morning traffic. Also, there is a bus stop right outside so if you want to go downtown without a car it's easy.

L’appartement est bien situé, dans un quartier neuf en plein développement, à proximité des magasins, des restaurants ainsi que de le musée des Sagas. Bien équipé, il offre un cadre sûr où l’on peut dormir paisiblement. Le service client est réactif avant, pendant et après le séjour. Je le recommande !

Hermoso apartamento con una excelente ubicación, disfrutamos de un gran espacio con camas cómodas. Silla es muy amable y su esposo también, pudimos saludarlos a los dos. Si tiene la posibilidad de hospedarse en este apartamento, no lo piensen dos veces.

Really lovely and cozy space, walkable to most everything.

We had an amazing time at Geir’s family home! This was an incredible place to spend the new year and we would absolutely return! The location is perfect. We were able to walk outside the city lights a short distance to get an amazing view of the northern lights. A designated lookout is also a short car ride away. Plus, downtown Reykjavík is a short car or bus ride away! It could also be a good walk for those who like to hike.

Dom Mattiego to świetna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania Reykjanesu (od geotermalnych okolic Gunnuhver, przez park krajobrazowy z jeziorem Kleifarvatn, Reykjavik, aż po gejzery czy wodospad Gullfoss). Blisko z lotniska (20 minut autem). Sam dom w spokojnej okolicy, bardzo duża przestrzeń, w tym 4 sypialnie, duża kuchnia i łazienka czyniły to, że jako 4-osobowa rodzina czuliśmy się bardzo komfortowo. Łatwy dostęp do kluczy mimo późnego przyjazdu, możliwość zostania nieco dłużej w dniu wyjazdu oraz szybkie odpowiedzi gospodarza - to także czynniki decydujące o naszej bardzo wysokiej ocenie. Jeśli miałbym polecić bazę noclegową w tej części Islandii, to Vogar i dom Mattiego polecam z czystym sumieniem. A przy okazji - powroty o ciemku (zima 2025) do domu Mattiego z naszych codziennych wypraw i zorze polarne widziane nie tylko w ciemnych miejscach w okolicach miasta Vogar, ale także spod domu - niezapomniane chwile dla nas wszystkich!

A great stay for our first night. Instructions for cleaning were posted throughout the house (not our favorite for the actual stay, but helpful for checking out). Check in was very smooth.

Sloveig was such a wonderful host and really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The place was beautiful and comfortable in every way imaginable and super close to the city center without the crowd. Definitely a place I would want to come back to!

Jolanta, the host, has amazing vibes. She makes you feel right at home and is so personable and caring. That being said about my favorite host to date: her accommodations are pristinely clean. The apartment/condo is very comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The beds were lovely and the black out curtains allowed for a restful sleep. I saw a rainbow outside at 12:00 am! With a gorgeous and private back deck, the hot tub is filled with the same water that comes from the Blue Lagoon. It is invigorating and repaired our travel weary bodies. I look forward to booking with Mrs. Jolanta again. Iceland is magnificent!

Anna’s place is wonderful, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the place is very clean. We enjoyed the Netflix time with our big group on the extremely big TV. The sofa is large enough for 2 adults. Some kid beds are suitable for 1 adult only. So some of us sleep on the sofa but it is alright. Supermarket and gas station is very close by and the neighborhood is quiet. We like the place very much, especially they have cats running around the house and bunnies in the garden!!! I so happy to stay with the cats and they are so friendly to us, always looking for scratching from us! Wanna spend whole day with them if I could!
