Apartment holiday rentals in Iceland

This is definitely among the best Airbnb's I've stayed in, so much so I would rent this apartment myself if I lived in Reykjavík. It's absolutely beautiful, has everything you need, and the location cannot be beat (within <5 minutes of everything in Centre, super close walk to nearly everything else). Stefan gave great recommendations and went to the extra effort of dropping off extra soap / laundry detergent when he realized the Airbnb would be running low during my stay. Highly recommend!

Very nice location for a ring road trip. Really clean!

Very friendly and fast communication. Great little apartment for two people. Kitchen is well equipped. You can park right in front of the property in the yard. Supermarket, bakery and restaurants are in walking distance. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay, and the apartment was even nicer than in the pictures. Easy to get to from the airport, easy to get to Reykjavik, easy to get around to other beautiful places. Super nice host who always responded quickly. ☺️ Nothing to complain about, so this is recommended!

Very cozy stay! Exactly as advertised. Very quiet and relaxing.

A small but great private space that has everything you need, including easy use of a jacuzzi with an amazing view of the surroundings, and the stars at night. We even saw some northern lights!

We stayed 2 nights on Viktoria’s farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing location; comfortable and clean. We enjoyed bird watching and walking on the trails. We were able to make breakfasts and dinner easily with what’s available. Beds were very comfortable as well. Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location for day trips to Dragsnes and Holmavik. There is also a hotel close by that had excellent dinner.

We felt very comfortable and would have liked to have spent more time in the accommodation, but Iceland of course attracts with many wonderful excursions, thank you for everything!

We felt very comfortable, the apartment, especially the bedroom was larger and more beautiful than it looked in the pictures. It's incredibly quiet and undisturbed there - perfect for unwinding! The two dogs that belong to the farm are very sweet and friendly. But even if you are afraid of dogs, that would not be a problem, the dogs are by no means intrusive etc. We were particularly impressed by the black and white dog, which was able to find the same stone among thousands of black stones and then put it on your shoe - an adorable highlight!

Great location! So quick and easy to walk to most of downtown Reykjavík, and there’s a cute coffee right up the street. If you have a car, parking can be tricky! For the most part it was ok - we only ran into an issue one of the three nights we were there where we ended up having to park 4 blocks away. Wasn’t a huge deal, just took some time to find. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jona's apartment. The location is spectacular -- totally tranquil with views of the ocean and mountains. The space was impeccably clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortably at home. We would love to return and would highly recommend this place as a beautiful basecamp for exploring Iceland's southern coast.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Jon’s Penthouse. It was easy walking distance to all the main sights in Reykjavik, plus there were many restaurants and groceries close by. Since there was an elevator to the fourth floor, it was easy to manage with luggage. Even though it is in the city, we never heard any noise. The apartment is very tidy and has all the amenities needed for a nice stay. We did not totally understand how to use the hot spot, but did not need it since we had eSIMs. Each evening we watched a variety of movies on Netflix, which were much appreciated. Although it was pleasant when we arrived at the end of May, by the beginning of June a huge storm arrived and it was so windy, I could barely stand when walking. However, Jon’s place is a warm and quiet oasis in a storm.

This apartment is very large, has great amenities (including a much needed washer & dryer!) and was very comfortable. The view from the apartment of the bay was amazing. It comes with a parking space! Beate was such a friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend this apartment.

We had a great time staying in Anna's apartment in Reykjavik! The apartment was easy to find, check in was very straightforward, and everything was so nice and clean. The apartment is walkable to downtown restaurants, shops and it was so nice having easy close parking for our rental car. We absolutely loved our visit and would definitely stay here again. It was a beautiful updated apartment with a great view! Thank you!

Perfect location for visiting the area

We stayed 3 nights in the apartment. The location is very nice, great view from the hot tub. The children enjoyed the time with the great, very child-friendly dog. 20 minutes from Akureyri. We spent one day in the beautiful Diamond Circle and at Myvatn, the other day at whale watching in Husavik. The apartment is highly recommended.

Fabulous place. So peaceful. The hot-tub was wonderful and spacious, kitchen was great and the location is amazing. Linda's instructions on how to find the place were really useful as g******map was not completely accurate. Not cheap but that's Iceland; good value. Recommend highly. Thanks.

A great stay for our first night. Instructions for cleaning were posted throughout the house (not our favorite for the actual stay, but helpful for checking out). Check in was very smooth.

Jolanta, the host, has amazing vibes. She makes you feel right at home and is so personable and caring. That being said about my favorite host to date: her accommodations are pristinely clean. The apartment/condo is very comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The beds were lovely and the black out curtains allowed for a restful sleep. I saw a rainbow outside at 12:00 am! With a gorgeous and private back deck, the hot tub is filled with the same water that comes from the Blue Lagoon. It is invigorating and repaired our travel weary bodies. I look forward to booking with Mrs. Jolanta again. Iceland is magnificent!
