Fabulous property and perfect for our family of five. Very comfortable, we felt right at home, loved the furnishings and cozy beds. The location was very convenient to making day trips, close to groceries, and an easy drive to downtown Reykjavik. Nice views from the balcony, super quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in my opinion the location is very achievable in and out if you have a car and plan to take day trips in basically any direction. Kitchen i.e. had everything(and more) you need for cooking. Comfy sofa for relaxing after a long day out. Groceryshop is like 150m away and has a good selection of items including own section for vegan stuff. We had absolutely no issues during our residence here and would definately pick this one again in the future. Highly recommended

Good stay ; Location is good with Super markets and Gas station near by. The house is equiped with everythjng thaat you need the best part is the kitchen.

Great space, walkable to downtown restaurants and bars, comfortable for large groups. Responsive host.

Jennifer was a great host, very clear instructions were given, the place was heated and has one parking spot and just outside the city and centrally located. Will highly recommend the place for a family of four.

The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, even leaving us a handwritten note and it was such a thoughtful touch. also the kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. Being escaped from the coldness of iceland, heating worked perfectly, and the cozy, warm atmosphere made the place feel welcoming and comfortable after a day of exploring. The location was in a peaceful neighborhood, and the house was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax. Staying here made our Iceland experience even more memorable !! Probably one of the best places we've stayed, as the house is far superior to what the photos show. The location is wonderful, the house and amenities simply superb, without a doubt a place we will return to on our next visit to Iceland. During our stay we felt completely at home, the comfort, all the utensils in the kitchen available, great central heating, in short we recommend it and we can only thank Helga for providing us with this experience.

Sergey was super responsive and helpful. We had the absolute best time on our wild trip to Iceland. The Jeep ran perfect, and got us through a whole bunch of river crossings and rough terrain driving on the Icelandic F roads. The mattress and pillows in the back were incredibly comfortable, and we slept like babies. The box of supplies had everything we needed. We had an amazing time. We’ll be back!!

A well-equipped, spacious basement appartment in a quiet neighbourhood just outside Reykjavik. It is easy to reach by car, and there are supermarkets, gas stations and charging stations at a 5-minute drive distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. And, speaking as a cat lover: there are 2 gorgeous big cats walking around that will come and say hello.

Solid vehicle, super comfortable and warm. A GREAT way to see Iceland if you only have 24hrs! If you are coming from Canada, be prepared for insane gas prices…More than $300 to fill the tank.

Stayed here for 3 weeks to study, so we rented the entire apartment. The location was perfect, lovely parks and an ice rink nearby, and only a short bus ride or 25 minute walk by the sea to downtown reykjavik. Kitchen had everything you would need to cook and clean. Hakon had loads or information left available on tours, bus routes, restaurants etc, that were very helpful. A home away from home.

Birna’s place was such a cozy and welcoming spot! The location is perfect — just a short walk to a fantastic bakery and a grocery store, which made everything super convenient. The space was clean, comfortable, and had a really nice vibe. Plus, it comes with its own parking spot. I’d absolutely recommend staying here!

We had a great time in Iceland, and this place was really perfect for our needs. It has a ton of space, which can be hard to find in Iceland (I have been to Iceland many times, as I have family there). Sesselja was an absolutely AMAZING host. She is VERY responsive and very helpful. We communicated a great deal after booking, leading up to the trip, and throughout our stay. She answered all my questions in a very reasonable amount of time. I am very happy that I found her and her place here on Airbnb. I will probably be looking/hoping to stay here on all my future trips to Iceland.

This was a great value for us. Really a nice size with plenty of room for the four of us. I had some questions while there and they were answered very quickly. We also got some great recommendations before our arrival from Amos, very friendly and helpful. The free parking was a plus but we did find that if you arrive later in the day/evening, you will likely have problems finding anything close. Would still definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place near town.

The appartment is exactly how it is described, spacious and easily accessible. The neibourghood is so quiet and peaceful. I had a car, it is very easy to find a parking and it is 5 min away from everything. Helena is a great host, very responsive and helpful. If i can spot only one negative point at this time of the year, is the absence of blackout curtains, it was not easy to sleep when you have light 24/24. Otherwise everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this condo enough. This was a great place right outside of Reykjavík that allowed us to quickly go into town and provided a great jumping off point for our tours. The condo was welcoming and very clean - it is exactly how the photos and description describe it. The amenities were great, and the laundry was wonderful after long days. Also, Hannes was a phenomenal host. He allowed us to check in early because of an early morning flight, and was extremely responsive to any question I had. I cannot wait to return and rebook this condo. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Hannes for your hospitality!
