We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Rosehill Cottage 1699 | Hideaway, mountains & lake

Enjoy relaxing hours in the beautifully renovated half-timbered house from 1699. Inside, this jewel is stylishly furnished and technically well equipped. Nestled in the romantic Lahn-Dill mountains, it is an ideal starting point for hikes and picnics in the mountains. Cyclists and motorcyclists also feel right at home here. Marburg and Frankfurt are within easy reach and invite you to visit them, as well as the natural outdoor pool in town or the thermal baths in nearby Bad Endbach.

The small art remise along the Weiltal and Weilstrasse in the Taunus is a small 55 square metre cottage on a former mill estate. Heated exclusively with wood, the shed invites you to linger in a cosy atmosphere or to explore the Weiltal or Lahntal by bike. On the property right next to the stream you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and even the occasional egg. Most recently, the remise was used as a studio, and now art objects by regional artists continue to enliven the space.

The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Sandbox, barbecue area in the garden, table tennis, table soccer, plenty of space to play and direct access to cycling and hiking trails offer you the conditions for a pleasant stay. A place to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful vacation home on 2400 sqm fenced premises. Pure relaxation in the beautiful Westerwald. Hiking trails, animal parks, the Westerwald lake district, cities with history and beautiful old towns are in the vicinity. The Heisterberger Weiher is within walking distance. There are snacks, sunbathing lawns and the possibility to swim. Dogs are welcome and do not incur any extra costs. Dog waste on the property is prohibited! In the basement there is a sauna. No Wi-Fi!

Apartment Broche, vacation from everyday life

Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

Vacation home (LebensArt in the small chapel)

The lovingly converted vacation home in a former chapel offers space for up to 10 people on 150 m². Five individually designed bedrooms – three with double beds, two with bunk beds – as well as three modern bathrooms, some with a rain shower, ensure comfort. Underfloor heating in all rooms, a spacious living and dining area with pellet stove, 77-inch smart TV and large table, a fully equipped kitchen, three parking spaces and an e-charging station complete the offer.

Exclusive “Flow” forest house: nature & luxury

Flow combines rustic charm with modern comfort. For day seminars, there is room for up to 40 participants. There is a large, mobile presentation screen, a flip chart, and a pinboard here. Enjoy the open living area & the fully equipped kitchen. Large windows offer beautiful views of nature. Relax on the covered terrace or in the hammocks. Ideal for families, seminars & retreats – experience the perfect blend of adventure and luxury in the middle of the forest.

House in a rural area

The place offers plenty of room for the whole family. Located directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can make wonderful excursions on foot or by bike. If you want to go for a short walk in the evening, the nearby Tretbecken invites you to linger. The house, located on the outskirts of Hilchenbach-Grund, is surrounded by meadows and forests. In the immediate vicinity is a small horse stable. There is a ski slope and a toboggan run in the neighboring village.

Haus Hermann - A Moment of Nature

Haus Hermann is a lovingly modernized vacation home in a contemporary country style at the foot of the Westerwald. Bright, welcoming rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy atmosphere make it ideal for families, hikers, and cyclists. The property is centrally located in the town on the main street. Shopping, bakeries, and restaurants can be found in the nearby town, about 5–8 minutes away by car. Terrace currently usable on a temporary basis. 🌿

A special highlight: our 12 alpacas (400 m) and our whiskey tent (50 m) from your accommodation.

Here you can stay in a small detached house with 1000 sqm fenced property and distant views over the Ober-Bergisches Land. The cottage is furnished in vintage style and has a fireplace in addition to electric heating. A kitchen newly built in 2022 with fridge, dishwasher, induction, oven, and everything else you might need, outdoor grill, covered terrace. Towels and bowls are available for dogs. Hiking from the house is possible for hours.
