My friends and I had the most wonderful girls' trip at Darlene's cottage this past weekend. The space was spotless, cozy, and very well stocked with all the necessities and beyond. We especially enjoyed the unique game room and the hot tub. Darlene even left us a s'mores kit, a bottle of wine, and a lovely note to welcome us! We highly recommend. 😊

Had a great weekend away with friends at a beautiful Airbnb! The home was clean, and the view was beautiful. The hosts were great to communicate with! We enjoyed the dock for watch sunsets and swimming off of! Definitely recommend Serenity Now!

We had such a fantastic time at this Airbnb! The property is truly beautiful, and we were so impressed with how well-maintained and equipped it was. A special shout-out for the abundant firewood – we absolutely loved spending our evenings by the fireplace, it really added to the experience. Thanks to Paul for being such a thoughtful host. We definitely hope to visit again!

Loved the cottage very clean, there was cleaning supplies and small things that they keep stocked with was very nice to be able to grab from when we ran out instead of going to town. The hot tub was great very clean, and the screened in porch out front was a great touch aswell.

Wonderful place to stay! very clean and exactly as depicted in description and photos! Tip: if you come in the spring, bring bug repellent!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

Absolutely gorgeous place! The outside of the cottage is where you'll spend most of your stay, exactly as described. Responsive host, clean, would love to stay again.

This was my second time at Rebecca's place. As always it was clean, well stocked, and so incredibly peaceful. You cannot beat the views and the walk out sandy beach. I always feel right at home there. The beds are so comfy, the couch is nap worthy, and I could sit outside in an Adirondack chair and read all day long. Thank you Rebecca for the lovely accommodations. Highly recommend!

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

This was my second stay at Stephen’s place and it did not disappoint yet again! This was the perfect cabin getaway, complete with a very clean, beautiful and cozy cottage paired with so much to enjoy outside and on the water. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay and how great of a host Stephen always is!! Would definitely recommend, and I look forward to another visit in the future!

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Red Fox Lakehouse exceeded our expectations in every way. A cosy and modern cabin feel with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gorge lake view and comfy beds. So much to do & fun for all ages- fire pit, lake, boats, games, hot tub & sauna! Showcased Ontario’s serenity, tranquillity and beauty! Laura was friendly, responsive and helpful in every way. Loved all the decor detail, organization, and cleanliness. Felt like a lux resort in a cottage setting. Thank you Laura & Jamie- looking forward to our next stay. Cheers Mary

(This review was written by my wife, Tami) As we drove up the secluded lane that led into the enchanted forest we knew that we had found a gem.The cottage was charming & spotless with a huge deck that set high up in the trees. The sauna & hot tub provided pure relaxation at the end of our days. The dock was huge with comfortable seating, we even had 2 loons gliding by each day! We hiked to waterfalls, fished & took the canoe for a paddle. Our pups loved our daily adventures! Mark was the perfect host & easy to contact if needed. We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

😍Wow! Beautiful location and cottage! We loved everything about this cottage. The side dining area gave a cozy/private spot to eat and play board games. Kitchen was absolutely perfect - on top of being clean and well stocked - it was a delight to cook in! Decor was well planned and designed, giving a peaceful, calming space. Very relaxing! So close to Sir Sam’s, it was a perfect spot for us this winter. Wish we booked for longer! The host was super helpful and very responsive.

We had an unforgettable 2 night stay at the hideaway! Super cozy and homey cottage with beautiful views in a very serene and peaceful area. A true winter wonderland. The space was very rustic and charming. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals and the dining area very well laid out next to it. The living room was extremely cozy and relaxing to hang out in, especially with a lit fire. Getting there was easy, parking was easy, checking in and out, a breeze. Both Sarah and Matt were very responsive, kind and accessible hosts. We’d definitely book with the again and stay at their cottage!

Justin’s Airbnb was a beautiful and wonderful experience! Very fast response times and made our check in a smooth and easy process. The cottage was also more than equipped from kitchen utensils all the way to kayak , canoes and life jackets even some feminine hygiene products! All in all the Airbnb is located in a beautiful spot and was such a great experience I would definitely come back and spend time here again!

Spent a relaxing long weekend at Amanda’s beautiful cottage. The space is gorgeous and full of light from the wrap around windows. Great open concept kitchen at the centre of the cottage which had everything we needed to cook wonderful meals. The fireplace is lovely on a chilly day and we spent a lot of time curled up on the comfy couches reading. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the linens are lovely. The space was immaculately clean! Outdoor space is fantastic with a beautiful view out over the lake. Comfortable patio furniture set up on the dock. Location of the cottage is great, with a few restaurants, bakery and shop 10 mins drive away. Communication with Amanda was great. She’s really helpful with clear directions to the cottage and instructions for everything organized in a booklet for your arrival. I would highly recommend anyone looking to relax by the lake rent this cottage. We are hoping to return often! The one is a gem! Thanks for having us Amanda!

Our group was very impressed with this cottage. The location is perfect and has beautiful views. The cottage itself is flawless…It had everything our group needed, and more. Chris & Kate were very accommodating and responsive. Fishing off the dock was great. We had to cancel our golf game due to bad weather but the group wasn’t too upset since we had more time to spend at the cottage. I highly recommend this property and host. We will be back again!

Everything as expected, except the difficulty getting from vehicle to cottage. I have severe assessibility issues and one other person beside myself although not as severe as myself had some as well. With railing and mainly steps to water getting there doable. However the heavy stones and steep incline from driveway to stone steps and no railing with stone steps necessitated the 2 other guests supporting us other 2 quite a bit to get in and out. It looks as though you may be in the process of trying to address this problem. Certainly looked as though some leveling and tiering with retaining walls and railings might really help. That said, so grateful to have had the time at your beautiful spot.

Very cozy and quite cottage in Haliburton district. Easy to get anywhere. Bianka has prepared everything before we arrive. Definitely will visit next time.

Absolutely perfect stay! John was an amazing host—friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from start to finish. The house itself is stunning: beautifully maintained, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is unbeatable—peaceful, scenic, and close to everything. 10/10 – would absolutely stay again!

Nadia’s place was absolutely perfect. The cottage itself was beautiful and had all the amenities we could have wished for, our group felt right at home. Nadia was a very proactive host, sending very helpful info before the trip, as well as prompt responses during when we needed it. Highly recommend for large groups, 10/10 experience.
