Beachfront holiday rental in Hardanger

A stunning place with breathtaking views of the hardanger fjord and an ideal location by the water. We spent four wonderful days fishing, hiking and relaxing in the very peaceful garden. Jan is a truly kind and attentive host, always available to help and answer our questions. Fresh flowers and a bottle of local cider were waiting for us and made us feel instantly at home. A fantastic experience – Highly recommended! We do hope to have the opportunity to return soon!

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall this place was super cute and easy to find. It’s located on the water, super quiet neighborhood and 35 mins from Bergen. We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for a family of four. A few things…There isn’t much food wise around so eat before you get to that side of town if you go exploring unless you plan on eating at the house. The house was stocked up with pots, pans, towels, etc. The host left us some fishing rods, we caught a fish! If you have an electric car just know the EV charging there is for a few residents only so you won’t be able to charge. One other thing to note there was no black out curtains so make sure you have a mask to help with sleep as it doesn’t get dark until midnight during the summer. I really enjoyed waking up in the morning and walking out looking at the water though as it was such a beautiful location. Very peaceful would recommend if you want to stay out of the city.

Vi hadde et helt fantastisk opphold på tinghuset. Fantastisk beliggenhet, vi fikk muligheten til å bade fra bryggen og sole oss. Det var kort vei til Rosendal. Vi kommer absolutt tilbake til denne plassen. Tusen takk for oss.

Rolf und Lenas Hütte ist wunderschön und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist einmalig! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Lena hatte uns einen Kaffee, Ostergebäck und frische Blumen zur Begrüßung hingestellt. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche hier und haben sogar Polarlichter gesehen.

So ein schönes Häuschen, direkt am Wasser. Links und rechts nichts als Wasser und Natur. So etwas schönes haben wir bisher nur ganz selten gesehen. Die Kommunikation mit Oystein war unkompliziert und einfach. Da unser Navi uns in die Irre führte, half uns Oystein mit Geduld, sehr schnell aus unsere misslichen Situation heraus. Als wir ankamen war die Heizung bereits eingeschaltet und es war kuschelig warm. Das Bett war zum Fenster hin ausgerichtet, so das wir von dort aus einen perfekten Blick auf den Fjord hatten. Die Küche war für unsere Urlaubsansprüche sehr gut bestückt. Wir haben täglich einfache Gerichte zubereitet. Der Versuch mit dem kalten Fjordwasser zu duschen hat prima geklappt, ist aber sicherlich nicht jedermanns/frau Geschmack. War eine tolle Erfahrung. Oystein hat ein kleines Paradies erschaffen. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert diesen schönes Ort aufzusuchen und dort ein paar Tage oder länger zu verweilen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Sigrid und Achim

Gemütliche, voll ausgestattete Hütte mit Motorboot, gut geeignet zum Angeln. Sehr empfehlenswert.

No tiene un acceso fácil porque hay que caminar desde el parking, pero las instrucciones eran muy claras con fotos de todo. Fue muy fácil acceder así. Todo limpio y cumple con todo lo que anuncia. Responde rápido. Lugar precioso!

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

En varmere velkomst har vi aldri før fått på en air bnb-bolig. Det var personlig hilsen og overraskelser til alle og et velutstyrt hus. Verten var vennlig og fleksibel med utsjekk. Alt var idyllisk og hjemmekoselig. Bjørn Harry er superhost-tittelen verdig. Vi håper å komme tilbake.

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

This was our second time staying here and Aleksander has upgraded with a sauna and the outdoor area as well. Lovely place, quiet, everything works great, and close enough to several ski centers and other attractions with plenty to do. The perfect place to disconnect!

We absolutely loved this place—it truly felt like paradise. The view alone is worth a million. The large boat was very comfortable and stable, perfect for our 7-hour fishing trip on the fjord. The cabin had all the essentials; nothing luxurious, but full of charm with its all-wooden interior. There were candles everywhere, both inside and out, which added a cozy and magical atmosphere. We didn’t use the sauna, but it was a nice option to have.

Après avoir traversé la forêt en 30min, nous sommes enfin arrivés à Villa Vannes. Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans la tiny house de Hilde, hors du temps. L'emplacement est juste incroyable, au bord d'un magnifique fjord où nous avons même pu apercevoir une baleine! Tout est fait pour se sentir au mieux, entouré par la nature. Nous avons pu profiter du lancé de hache, d'un très bon dîner et d'un petit-déjeuner concoctés par Hilde. Hilde est une hôte très agréable et réactive. Nous avons eu plaisir à partager avec elle. Nous recommandons vivement si vous cherchez une expérience hors du commun dans la nature Norvégienne!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad, heel fijn huis. Geweldige omgeving. Ik kan niet anders zeggen, We komen al dertig jaar in Noorwegen, maar deze locatie is uniek, Lars bedankt

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Bootshaus ist perfekt und hochwertig eingerichtet, es fehlt nichts! Die Gastgeber sind superfreundlich, waren immer für uns erreichbar und haben uns mit Tipps und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten versorgt. Da Fogn bestens mit der Fähre (kostenlos) oder mit dem Schnellboot zu erreichen ist, ist man nicht unbedingt auf ein Auto angewiesen. Der kleine Supermarkt ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen und Schwimmen ist direkt vom Steg des Bootshauses möglich. Für eine Erkundung der Insel vom Wasser aus, gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Boot vor Ort zu nutzen. Wir danken Oddbjorg und Ole ganz herzlich für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt, von dem wir noch lange zehren werden!!!

A Perfect Stay in a Fantastic Location! We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Anne's Airbnb. The location is unbeatable—right next to the fish market, with e-scooters readily available all around. The flat itself is incredibly spacious, offering all the amenities we could possibly need. A particularly thoughtful touch was the friendly neighbor who went out of their way to assist us. The large, airy balcony was a highlight, providing stunning views of the harbor, with ships and ferries gliding past—truly mesmerizing! Transportation was a breeze, with easy access to taxis, buses, and train connections. The flat itself was huge and extremely comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved every moment and will undoubtedly be returning. Thank you, Anne, for a super awesome stay!

Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön und ruhig, direkt am Wasser und ist trotzdem schnell von Bergen aus erreichbar. Die Hütte ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und die Gastgeber sind sehr gut erreichbar. Die Ausstattung ist einfach (kein fließend Wasser), aber genau wie beschrieben. Ein Highlight sind die Feuerstelle und der Grill für wunderschöne Abende am Fjord. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen!

Veldig fint opphold. Fin og ren leilighet i vakre omgivelser med utsikt til sjøen og tilgang til brygge hvor vi kunne bade. Kort vei å kjøre til fantastiske fjellturer. Verten var vennlig og rask til å svare. Vi kommer gjerne igjen☺️
