Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hardin County

So, needless to say the property is in the center of the middle of nowhere, but it is absolutely perfect to get away with some peace and quiet. We loved it and you will too. We would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Every detail—big and small—was clearly chosen with care, from the cozy linens to the well-equipped kitchen. The host was incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back the next time we’re in the area. A true gem!

My family spent a long weekend at The Farm and it was perfectly relaxing! It's a little bit of a drive to get to the hiking trails (30 min - 1 hour) but worth it for the privacy and gorgeous scenery. My husband and son went fishing and caught lots of bass and blue gill, the hot tub was great and the game room was a hit (just missing the Big Buck Hunter in the photos). I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a private getaway!

Connie was very responsive, helpful. The B&B is exactly as described/ pictured. We really enjoyed Shotgun Eddy’s food which was very close by. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful hiking nearby, and all the locals we encountered were so friendly. Connie provided plenty of suggestions for nearby food. I loved the home’s decor and style. Will be on my list for stays in the area in the future. Such a comfortable stay!

What a beautiful space! We had a great stay. The kids got to fish, the doggie got to swim and we all played bags. This was the perfect location for our summer kick off. We hiked Mil Branch Trail and Gardens of the gods. The drive to both weren't terrible from the cabin. We'd definitely stay again.

Beautiful country setting with lots to do on the property for my adult family of 5. The pool table, hot tub, and fire pit were wonderful!! We were just minutes away from dinner and a grocery store. We were just 20 minutes from hiking at the Garden of the Gods. We landed at Kevin's after a 4 day, 3 night back country hike and could not have been more comfortable! It was a wonderful place to relax and recharge.

Katie was proactive from the start and provided a ton of information that allowed for seamless check-in and check-out. The space was exactly what we expected from the listing: private, peaceful, and comfortable. That said, Katie went above and beyond to make us road-weary travelers more at home without the need to run out for every little thing. I hope to be back in the area again some day and will be keeping an eye out for availability at this same great accommodation.

kyle was a great host. my wife forgot her iPad and we had no issues going back to get it even after check out hours. Kyle has an amazing place perfect for relaxing and great fishing. will definitely will be back.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway with our extended family. It was perfect for our two families with small kids. We loved the fire pit in the backyard and the huge deck to sit on and enjoy the scenery. This is cabin is located next to three other cabins but it still felt very private and secluded during our stay. Communication with Jennifer was also great - she was always helpful and responded immediately. I’m sure we will be returning!

FWIW, I was able to get my small car (Chevy Sonic) through most of the road/driveway. I couldn't for the last ~200 yards, which is fine b/c the description in the listing made me prepare to carry my stuff longer than that.

If you are looking for a place to unplug and relax outdoors with a good book this is the place for you! We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this gorgeous and peaceful country property. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing plenty of amenities that made our visit even more enjoyable. The house itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable—truly a home away from home. They even left us s'mores supplies for the fire pit! One helpful tip: cellphone reception in the area is quite limited, so be sure to download maps ahead of time for easier access to local grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking trails. Overall, it was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, and we’d absolutely love to return!

The Wanderlust cabin was a beautiful place in a peaceful setting. Jared provided comfortable amenities and careful attention to ensure a pleasant stay.

Highly recommend this location if you're in the area, very peaceful and beautiful lodge set up on the hill overlooking a pond. We needed to have enough room to park our truck and 14-foot trailer. It was perfect for that. The layout was great, if it rained you could be on the front porch or in the garage. Paula, the host responded to my texts in timely manner so Thank you being a great host it was very relaxing for us. We will be on the list to book again in the future for sure. Great to know they allow pets. We didn't bring ours but good to know. Thank you.

This weekend was truly a slice of heaven for both Doug & I. From being over loaded for over a year at work to deaths in the family, kids and home life...we were looking for a private, peaceful getaway to distress and Miss Donna's cabin was absolutely amazing. from the charming decor to the smell of the cedar, the birds in the morning to frogs and crickets at night, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Its not far from Burden Falls, Garden of the Gods and many other trails and activities! or if you're looking for a quiet little retreat to post up at for the weekend, this is perfect!! we will definitely be back, probably August! Me and my friends had a wonderful time staying here. Loved the location and atmosphere. When going into town the locals were very friendly.

Our group had a great stay. It was such a peaceful, quiet and relaxing location. We had things to do in the area, but it was hard to pull ourselves away from the property. The fire ring, the pond, the fountain and the private location all made for a nice stay. There was an issue with the sink in one house, but Martin was quick to respond and get it taken care of.
