The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). Bearnus Bothy on Isle of Ulva

Bearnus Bothy has been lovingly renovated using our principle of ecological design to repair, repurpose and use what has been washed-up by the sea. It is one of the last old residences outside of the main dwellings around the Main House on Ulva. As such there are no neighbours until you reach the tiny community on Gometra - where we live - another three miles down the track.
