Joseph's Shepherds Hut Hadrians Wall

GinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A fantastic place to stay, close to the town an easy walk to the pub but quiet and serene when you want to wind down. The hut was comfy and cosy well stocked with everything you could need. The double bed under the single makes for some entertainment when the person one the inside needs to get up in the night but 10/10 would definitely stay again!

Jessie's Hut

FionaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Great to be back for a return visit. As always everything was clean and tidy. Andrew and Lisa are great hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure guests have a fantastic stay. There's plenty to do in the area, I spent the weekend cycling and it's really easy to jump onto the Waskerley Way, which is about a mile from the farm.

Dragonfly

KateRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Really really good stay. Enjoyed the use of the indoor and outdoor fires, especially under the stars and listening to the owls. Kathryn & Trevor have really used the space well and it feels very private. Trevor welcomed us from the beginning and was very friendly and showed us to the hut. Perfect weekend away to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely peaceful space! Oh and the sheep are extremely friendly too!

A charming, comfortable gypsy caravan in a beautiful campground with a lovely ambience. Lots of lovely places to visit in the area. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this caravan and the little oaks campground as a whole.

Glamping, Snug Shepherd Hut, Bishop Wilton, York

HollieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Having come to York to celebrate our anniversary, we could not have chosen a more perfect stay. Ruth’s hut was absolutely divine, cosy cute and perfect for a winter trip away. The log burner fire made for the perfect cosy evenings tucked away in peace and quiet - both Ruth and Ste were incredible hosts, friendly, helpful and we took up all Ste’s recommendations! (A trip to Pocklington is a must! The hide cafe had the best breakfast we have ever had!) We had a wonderful time and cannot wait to return soon!

The Garden Bothy , Glendale , Isle of Skye

HannahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Right from the start we felt at home at the Garden Bothy. The owners treat you as if you'd known them forever and also the goose and the chicken (Phoebe and Celine) are very friendly! The Bothy is clean and comfy and it offered us everything we needed for 2 nights. Breakfast (toast, eggs, porrige, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee) is also provided.

The Lily Pod ,Gypsy caravan/shepherds hut,Hot Tub

KateRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had an amazing stay at the Lily Pod! Such a beautifully unique place, I don’t think we’ve ever been somewhere that has so many thoughtful details and such lovely hosts 💛 There was chilled Prosecco waiting for us, fresh flowers on the table, wood ready for the hot tub and so many extras like hot chocolate and fresh coffee. The hot tub was definitely our favourite bit and the dogs absolutely loved exploring and watching the fish! Being here on the solstice was magical and apart from a spectacular beach walk we were happy to just stay near the hot tub and relax! We even braved the cold dip barrel after being in the sauna! This is such a fun place to stay with so much to look at (really… SO MUCH!! ♥️) and everything you could possibly need! We became especially fond of Gypsy the horse! The only downside to our trip was having to leave! Thank you for an amazing weekend, we’ve already booked again for next year! Much love, Kate, Jess, Pandora and Penelope xx

Effie Pod Sleeps up to 4 people

EleanorRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Effie pod, as a base for exploring the west coast! Beautiful location, and really well kitted out. The ferry over was lots of fun, and we had a tasty dinner at the local Inn as well as lovely coffee and brekkie from the Nomad cafe food van at Ardgour. Bed was super comfortable and great water pressure in the shower. We also loved the outside seating area - perfect spot for a cuppa or dinner soaking in the surrounds. As Isabel flags in her pre check-in Info, recommend picking up some supplies from fort William or ballachulish before you head over (e.g. milk), although the local shop at Strontian has the basics and is open late. Laundry facilities are as described and were a godsend midway through our long trip (laundry detergent and drying racks provided).

Had a great few days in the Skye Hut!! It was the perfect spot for a detox - especially loved waking up to the sea and the sheep :) I was very lucky with the weather so I spent most of the weekend sat on the patio. Emma was a great host and super responsive, and the hut was perfect.

‘Curlew' Luxury Shepherds Hut with Hot Tub

ClaireRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wow!! what an amazing “away from it all” hideaway, truly stunning. We stayed 3 nights and packed a lot in, walking, swimming, boating and soaking in the hot tub. If you want to destress, this is the place to come. Katie was very approachable and helped when we had trouble lighting the hot tub, we were so grateful 🙏. The little Shepherds hut is so quaint and has everything you need… just perfect, thank you… we had a great time, and will definitely be back soon.

Cosy double bed shepherds hut on a working croft

PatriciaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We arrived later than expected due to a traffic issue. This was no issue whatsoever and communication was flawless. Maggi is very friendly and gave us a warm welcome and showed us around (we even got to see her 8 ducklings 🥰). All in all a very nice experience and a very peaceful place! We’d love to come back!

Luxurious Shepherd's Hut with a Private Hot Tub

CiaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a truly enjoyable stay at this charming shepherd’s hut. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the hot tub offered stunning views of the surrounding countryside – a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Upon arrival, we did notice a few cobwebs on the light fixture and some areas of the ceiling that could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. However, these were only minor details in what was otherwise a wonderful experience. Thank you, Jason – we’d happily return!

Croft Farm Shepherd's Hut, Hardraw, Pennine Way

IlonaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

Romantic Hideaway, Private Gardens, Views, Hot Tub

CaitlinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at the property was brilliant. It's well located and Sarah and Liam provided information on things to do locally, as well as instructions on how to get there. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The property itself was beautiful, the views were amazing and it felt very private and comfortable. It was very clean and provided all amenities needed, including a welcome basket which was much appreciated! A brilliant place to stay, I would highly recommend!

Luxury shepherds hut

RowanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My son and I had three nights at the shepherds hut and it was the perfect base for exploring Anglesey. The hut was cosy and had everything we needed and I loved watching the birds and beautiful views, it was so peaceful. I honestly can’t fault the hosts of accommodation and we would love to return for longer.
