Our water supply is from a spring and reputed to be blessed by St Columba. Our electricity is generated by a renewables sources and distributed by Eigg Electric. There are stunning views in all directions - over the Atlantic to the Isle of Rum, behind to dramatic basalt cliffs plus scenic beaches and waterfalls situated close by.

Situated on a Woodland Croft on the shores of a sea loch, this beautiful timber bothy was conceived as a getaway for artists and creatives looking for peace in an inspiring landscape. Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a double bed, and a two small bunk type beds. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
