From Varildgården there are great day trips to Charlottenberg, swimming or skiing in Torsby, Badeland and Selma Lagerlöf's spa in Sunne or a trip to Rotneros park. You have a nice forest behind the property with blueberries and mushrooms, a 3.5 km plowed walking path and a cold dip in the river ten minutes walk away. As well as bike paths. For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summer house built for tramway director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A nice garden leads down to a private beach by Mjøsa. Beautiful perennial bed and a separate kitchen garden to supply yourself with. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and make delicious local and organic food, with the farm's and the area's own products. There are great hiking opportunities on Helgøya, for walking, running and cycling.

Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.
