Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Heidelberg

All in all i am very satisfied with my stay the host is friendly the house was excellent apart from some minor things that require maintenance. Kilian accommodated for our newborn with a baby bed and he communicated well. Some points of interest that need attention for the host: 1. The button to turn on (leftmost) the dishwasher at times simply refused to respond. 2. The bolts of the staircase could do with some tightening. 3. The light on the outside porch was malfunctioning. 4. Something surged the power on group 14 i think the oven. If these were resolved this place would be amazing. Super clean, nice location, convenient house interesting layout. An inspiration to how i want my house to be. Despite the minor shortcomings i would totally recommend this venue. But for the price i paid i did not expect the minor inconveniences.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting with all the amenities! We had a lovely and relaxing stay at Oliver and Sabrina’s place. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, and the surrounding countryside was perfect for daily walks. Oliver and Sabrina were very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Decorated with love and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need and also extra touches such as candles, games, Bluetooth box, etc. The fireplace was already prepared and we also enjoyed it very much. Ideal place to slow down for a few days:))

Katja both made very good suggestions for us and supported us to chech out comfortably by providing us with flexibility during and even after our stay. Thanks to her elegant fresh flowers and treats in the refrigerator she left for us, it was a meal for us even though we arrived very late on our first day. The cleanliness, location, silence, amenities were complete and good enough to be comfortable even if staying for a long time. I will definitely stay here again without hesitation. It was a great experience and pleasure for us.

We had a nice time in this newly renovated house and felt right at home. Despite the high temperatures, it was always quite cool in the house. The terrace and the grill are perfect for enjoying the weather. The kitchen was well equipped :) For 10 we had enough space in the house, for 12 we could imagine it a little tight. Thanks a lot!

Albert and Gabriele's accommodation is a true paradise. Very quiet location, surrounded by greenery and on a slope, so you have a wonderful view of the Odenwald. We were here as a family with four children and especially enjoyed the freedom to use all the available equipment, including the grill, fire bowl and especially the former bee house, about 50 m from the house. Albert and Gabriele are wonderful hosts. We were late on arrival, but the two of them simply waited for us, showed us everything in peace and immediately gave us the feeling that they trusted us. The garden is a paradise with many roses, currants and all kinds of herbs (which you can use for cooking). In Neckargemünd, there is a wonderful outdoor swimming pool that our children loved. The area is very hilly, but we still enjoyed cycling or taking the S-Bahn from Neckarsteinach to Heidelberg.

The house is very clean, the host is very friendly, personally opened the yard to greet us, and recommended us delicious food nearby.That's awesome!

Siggi was very friendly and child-friendly, our one-year-old child felt very comfortable and we didn't have to say no too often. Thank you Siggi!

Well situated in Heidelberg Old Town. everything was walkable to. To go further afield the public transport, trains, buses and trams, were easy to access. Old Heidelberg was well worth a visit with easy access to the Schloss via the funicular. The apartment was private and only a stone's throw to the marktplatz. There was no onsite carpark, but the chargeable, secure carpark was only five minutes walk away and we always found a place to park even when it was busy. We had a great time and would use the apartment again.

This apartment is exactly as it is described. Matthias had his assistant meet us outside the apartment to give us the keys and show us a few things such as how the windows and door to the patio open. The assistant only spoke German which was no problem as my wife speaks German, but as a note to future guests, if you don't speak a little German, let Matthias know so he could have someone who can communicate with you during check in available. The location is good, only a few minutes away from a tram stop and right across the street from an Aldi. There are also some good restaurants in the area, one of which we went to 3 times! Overall, a good stay.

My stay was perfect. The house had everything I needed, and was close to the tram, which I also needed. The host pays close attention to detail and was always responsive. I would certainly consider this for my next stay assuming it’s available. Thanks Cornelia!

Ute offers a beautiful, quietly located apartment where everything fits. From uncomplicated check-in, to quick and friendly communication to tips for excursions, everything was thought of. Highly recommend and I would love to book again and again.

Everything was wonderful, starting with the friendly welcome, the great amenities of the totally clean apartment, and the uncomplicated farewell. We were very satisfied and will gladly keep the address for future stays in the greater HD area.

The small apartment has a great location in the middle of the old town, yet it is very quiet. The nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away, with good connections, e.g. to the main train station. The kitchen is minimally equipped (fridge, kettle, capsule espresso machine, microwave, dishes and cutlery for max. 1 meal), has little space, but with so many great restaurants and cafes just around the corner, you don't really need self-catering. Space for clothes is in the open shelf and on hangers on the wall. The bathroom is beautiful, modern, small, with a great rain shower. The bonus is a small terrace directly at the apartment. For 1 person everything is very functional and very good, for 2 people it will probably be a bit cramped. But who stays in the apartment in Heidelberg, there is so much beauty to see and experience! A great place for a short city trip!

Their place was ideally situated in the altstadt close to everything and easy access to a bus to the Hbf.

Monika is a super friendly hostess. Very clean large apartment, very well equipped, nothing is missing. The accommodation is in a quiet location, bakery and supermarket within walking distance in 5 min. Restaurants available in the village.

We stayed at the accommodation for two nights and it was just great. The location is as described, the apartment a dream. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. A beautiful modern new apartment, with everything you need. A quiet, beautiful location on the outskirts of the village, directly on a hiking trail through the vineyards. We really liked the garden belonging to the apartment with loungers and outdoor seating. Everything is great, many thanks to the nice landlords.

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful stay at the accommodation near Heidelberg. The property corresponded exactly to the description and was very well appointed. The kitchen in particular was spacious and well-equipped, including a storage room and laundry rack, which made the stay very pleasant. The accommodation is perfect for families: there are children's dishes, a children's stool, a children's toilet seat and a variety of games for the whole family, including Playmobil and books. This gave our children a lot of pleasure and made the stay even more pleasant. The beautiful kitchen garden with a free-roaming cat was a highlight and provided a relaxed atmosphere. Overall a great place to stay that we would book again at any time. Highly recommended for families looking for comfortable and child-friendly accommodation near Heidelberg!

We were in a very nice apartment, where we immediately felt comfortable. There was everything you needed. Shops, restaurants and tram are within easy walking distance. Communication with Christine was fast, informative and friendly. I'm sure we'll be back.
