Beach house holiday rentals in Hermosa Beach

Perfect location right on the beach next to lifeguard tower 61. Comes with beach toys, chairs, towels, umbrella, bikes , boogie board, so you don’t have to bring anything. Outdoor shower perfect for rinsing. Patio perfect for lounging. We had a great time. Parking is easy as long as you come early or come late. We came at 7pm on Saturday and there was plenty of parking as is true every morning. Less parking available in mid afternoon but no problem, we parked in the lot and moved the car later.

A wonderful and convenient spot, this place is close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenient store! Very short drive to nearby places such as Balboa Island! The place itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and quant. Perfect for our family of 4! The only thing I would mention is this is the bottom unit, half our stay we were there with no one above us, the other half did have renters above and the walls are quite thin! Luckily our daughters have a sound machine and were able to sleep through the walking around upstairs! Nothing the upstairs neighbors could have done but just something to keep in mind being the bottom unit :) still a 5-star experience in our opinion with all the other great things this house offers.

You could not ask for a nicer host and a better location in Malibu. We needed a dog friendly place to stay and the options were limited. Lucky for us Rochelle had the nicest little place for our stay. Don't miss the breakfast burritos at Country Kitchen or dinner at Dukes just a two minute walk away. The house was well appointed and decorated nicely. The beds comfy and towels soft. But best of all was Rochelle's responsiveness. We had a few things come up during our stay and Rochelle helped us out so much (from a spare chair to host a little dinner to the mistake of hitting the jets on the tub and not knowing what the noise could be). Highly recommend! Enjoy your stay.

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

The location is wonderful. There is a lot of room in the house, comfortable arrangement. The temperature of the house was great, between window flow and A/c. Host was very friendly and communicative. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Ann was very easy to communicate with and her place was nice and clean. My family and I had a great time staying at her place!

Right on the beach. There are plenty of beach related items on the deck including beach chairs and boogie boards. Overall the home was very nice. One warning is about the carport parking: in anything but a smart car you won't be able to open the doors once parked! We use the on street parking which was adequate except on a busy beach when if you took your car out you might not find a space near the house till later in the day. Derek was a great host, very responsive and concerned about how our stay was going.

The place was so cute!! Perfect amount of space, old charm and close to the beach!! Balboa Blvd is a VERY noisy street, but we really enjoyed our stay!!

Beautiful unit-very close to beach. Neighborhood was pretty quiet. Parking can be challenging. However I was always eventually able to find a space within a block or two from the house. My mid sized car too large for garage. Pilot light was out in the heater on the first night ( it was very cold!) but they fixed it the next afternoon and it was plenty warm the rest of our stay. Decorated very cute. Comfy beds and couch.

We really enjoyed the space and the location.

Clean and conveniently located property at a 5 minute walk to the newport beach. Only suggestion would be to keep ac running at 70 around check in, we checked in at 4 pm and the temp inside was 87 degrees!

Thanks to Josh for opening the home to my family for the holidays. We felt right at home on cozy Balboa Island. This rental is all about location! Easy access on and off the island, and very close proximity to Marine Ave (where are the restaurants and shops are located on the island). The unit was clean and modern. Josh was responsive and open to feedback. Only downside to the unit is it is a back unit so you do not get to look out to the street.

We needed assistance with the fire alarm batteries beeping and John came over right away!

The house was very comfortable. We were busy and couldn't enjoy the games or the TV (so cool) as much as we would have liked to. Used the boogie boards and spike ball and beach pass, which was great. Beautifully decorated and homey. We cooked on the large stove/grill and there were all the spices, oils, etc, that we could want. Only 2 miles to Trader Joe's...very handy. Dori is very nice and we look forward to visiting again. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We had a fantastic stay at the Balboa Beach House! The location truly can’t be beat — right in the heart of the Balboa Fun Zone and just steps from the beach, pier, bay, grass parks, and tons of great places to eat. It was the perfect spot for our family. One of our favorite parts was renting cruiser bikes from Ray’s (literally right downstairs!) and riding along the boardwalk — such a fun way to explore the area. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was awesome — super friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house with 4 very private rooms-perfect for our group. Conveniently located to all that Malibu has to offer. This is an immaculate and well designed house with new and high quality amenities.

This is my second time staying at this home, and I have nothing but amazing things to say! The house is in an incredible spot - we walked the dog every am to abbot Kinney for coffee and went to golds gym 2 blocks away. The house has everything you need to cook and bbq outside, and is in great shape all around. We will be back for sure. You cannot go wrong with this home if you are looking to stay around Venice beach!
