Our vacation apartment THE APARTMENT Without Benedikt Kappenstein, Hof Erlenbruch would not exist in its current form. The guest room in the old haystack was awakened from its slumber and, after more than a year of renovation, was transformed by hand into a vacation home/apartment. The character of the old haystack was partially retained. Thus a piece of luxury was created in the Wildenburger Land on Hof Erlenbruch away from the urban hustle and bustle. The only people who live on Hof Erlenbruch are Benedikt Kappenstein, who manages the farm, his life partner Michael Noiron and their son. There are no cars around the farm and no traffic noise, as the access road ends in the courtyard. There is no Internet connection, as this cannot be provided by the providers and even cell phone reception is not possible on every corner. There is no everyday stress and no noise here. Here you only hear the rustling and cracking of the trees when the wind blows and the occasional howling of a fox. Here you can determine your daily rhythm in harmony with nature. Simply let yourself be carried away into the boundless forest landscapes of mountain and valley of the Wildenburger Land and discover our historic landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our apartment, which invites you to relax. The nearest neighbors are about 800 meters away, here you will experience pure secluded idyll! And if you should be drawn to more populated areas, you can cycle directly out of the courtyard exit and reach the nearest main road after just 2.6 km. A unique mixture of rustic farm and classics in a modern style await our guests in our newly designed apartment. An impressive mix with stylish interiors, modern design and traditional materials, which Benedikt Kappenstein and Michael Noiron have adapted to the style. A copper-colored bathtub next to the Jailhouse Bed by Noodles Noodles on the gallery, cozy wooden elements, fireplace and a completely new interior ensure the perfect feel-good atmosphere. Through the large windows you have a view of the surrounding landscape and our alpacas. The bathroom was also completely renovated in 2017 and remains true to the style of the apartment with a mixture of classics and wooden elements. A small kitchenette allows you to cater for yourself if you do not want to visit one of the culinary restaurants in the area. BOOKING You have the option to book the apartment for two or a maximum of four people. On the gallery there is a bed for two people. Below is the distinctive Moule sofa, with a transformation comfort with rotating seats and flexible backrests, which can not only be used as a seat and relaxation furniture, but can also be transformed into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps.

Kreutzmann's hut - cottage in the middle of the forest

Our cottage is detached in the middle of the forest about 1 km from the village. In the village itself you will find the South Tyrolean bakery. Several shopping possibilities are available in the neighboring village about 5 km. The famous winter sports resort of Winterberg can be reached in 15 minutes by car. In our immediate vicinity you will find the amusement park FORT-FUN and the Kneipp spa town Olsberg with the swimming pool AQUA. SAUERLAND vacation home on Lake Diemelsee (Heringhausen)

Enjoy your vacation in the Sauerland in our lovingly furnished vacation home overlooking Lake Diemelsee, which is only 150 meters away!! The 109 sqm of living space are distributed over two bedrooms, a separate TV room, the spacious living-dining room with fully equipped kitchen, hallway, bathroom on the first floor with large sauna and the second bathroom on the upper floor. Two storage rooms offer enough space for bicycles, skis and everything that is bulky. One of the highlights: The large roof terrace with lake view!

Our cozy apartment( (approx. 40 sqm) is located in the beautiful village of Elpe. It has a living-dining area, a bathroom with shower, as well as a bedroom. The entire apartment is equipped with underfloor heating. Cabinets for wardrobe are present. In the summer, the outdoor terrace (garden furniture ,charcoal grill ) offers time to relax, or just enjoy the beautiful view. The little black one! A charming cottage on the Musenberg. A beautiful colorful cottage garden welcomes guests. The covered terrace invites you to enjoy the outdoors. Our ecological log cabin, built in 2022, is located on the edge of an oak grove on a 550 m high plateau called Oesterberge, in the middle of the Sauerland Nature Park. When furnishing, we placed special emphasis on stylish and comfortable furnishings. For hikers, mountain bikers, but also for families with children, it becomes a small paradise. Located on the edge of our farm, guests of all ages can experience pure nature, tranquility and spectacular views.

Enjoy nature in an apple tree house and shepherd's wagon

Outdoor fans, take note! On our farm we have just the thing for you: A cozy wooden car with a loft bed (1.40 m) and sofa bed (1.20 m) and a shepherd's wagon with a large lying area (2 m x 2.20 m). There is also a shower house with toilet in the meadow. Our ducks and pigs live right next door. There is electricity. Wi-Fi is available in the farmhouse 150 meters away. There you can use a kitchen. Breakfast basket (also vegetarian) can be booked for €9/person

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Surrounded by forest, meadows and pastures, this charming cabin is not only suitable for recreation and relaxation.
