The market house is a historic gem and is protected as a monument, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruins on the romantic Painter's Way. Vaulted cellar and foundations date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a relaxation area, a post office and a tavern. In 1850, a massive extension in the classicist style took place. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

The towing nest is designed for 2 persons, simple extra bedding is exceptionally possible. A set of linen (bed linen/towels) can be booked for a flat rate of EUR 25 (own purchase). Our house is a 270-year-old Umindehaus that we have lovingly renovated and rebuilt. As far as possible, we received or restored the old wooden floorboards or woodwork. Our garden is so designed that living creatures that are at home are still allowed to feel comfortable such as, salamander, hedgehogs, fireflies, kingfisher and wild bees. Those who stay in the garden for a longer period of time can watch these many rare residents in our garden.

Our cozy apartment is just a few steps from the Elbe Cycle Path. Also for climbers and mountaineers the location is top. It is not for nothing that Pirna is called 'The Gate to Saxon Switzerland' :) Prices - 10 euros extra bed per day (cot) - 5 euro extra charge for small animals per day - 8 Euro breakfast p.p./p.T.
