Hello, we are Bart and Marieke and rent out a unique residence located on the waterfront in the center of Kolhorn. You can unwind under the veranda and have canoes at your disposal with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque village of Kolhorn. It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You can enjoy the beach and the cozy city of Schagen with the West Frisian Market every week.

In the 2700m2 backyard of our farmhouse are two detached tiny houses with a large private garden and private entrance with lots of privacy. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic city of Medemblik and close to Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away. Various possibilities for water sports. Beach, ports, shops etc. reachable within 5 minutes by car and 25 minutes on foot.

"Papenveer", a beautifully located holiday home

In the beautiful West Friesland in Oostwoud, we rent a 4-person vacation home called "Papenveer". This vacation home is located in a small vacation park. It is located on a continuous waterway with beautiful views and privacy. Papenveer is a cozy, spacious cottage with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Beautiful patio door and spacious sunny garden with patio furniture (click here for a complete photo impression).

Fantastic place at the back in the garden with lots of privacy and a great wide view. Space for 2 people in the "Zwarte Schuur" and in the kitchen there is room for 2 children or 1 adult (bed is 1.80x1.20). A tent can also be added in consultation. Also, if you want to come with more people, you can rent the Cape (see other listing on Airbnb) fully furnished (for 2 people on the farthest point of the yard with the most wide view).

Romantic stay with a view from your bed on the water and a double swing From the love-seat, you can watch the TV or the fireplace (heating) and you will have it cozy in winter or in summer you can enjoy reading or playing games outside on the terrace at the water. Hot tub, kayak or 2 supboards can be booked. There are also bicycles, which you can borrow for free. The bathroom is 1 step outside the Pipo and all just for you/you.

Forest Cabin is a cosy eco-cabin for 2 persons, situated at the edge of the forest on our green campsite. The double bed of this eco-cabin is made for you on arrival and towels and kitchen linen are ready for you. Every morning we bring a delicious fresh and extensive breakfast to your door, including fresh bread from the local bakery, organic yoghurt and cheese from the carefarm, various juices and many other good things.

Lovely bright studio/apartment for two people with private entrance. Equipped with a kitchen, living/dining room, sleeping area and a separate bathroom. At the French doors, there is a spacious terrace which is connected to the communal garden. You have a view over the polder. The studio is located on the waterfront. You can use our two kayaks for free. * In consultation, sometimes possible on weekends.

Vacation home Vrijburg peace and space

Detached vacation home between dike and dune. A beautiful wooden chalet 3 km of Schagen and 5.5 km from Callantsoog. Our vacation home was built in March 2020 and is equipped with every comfort, such as a toilet on both floors, downstairs bedroom for less accessible and a private garden with terrace. We welcome our guests with a cold drink. Incidentally, there is a private parking space at the house.
