OPEN March 20, 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies the quiet, one-day, one-group-only traditional Japanese inn, B&B Mori no Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner handmade by the owner are included (please refer to the photos). ⚫︎ We can also accommodate pescatarian and vegetarian meals. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roofs while creating a comfortable environment for your stay.The tranquility of the mountains, the soft light that illuminates the night.Here, you can take a break from your daily routine. Due to the abundant natural environment, we recommend that you come by car. (If you wish, we can arrange transportation to and from the nearest train station.) This accommodation is a private resort called "Private Resort Hoshike", located in a villa area about 7 minutes by car from Lake Yamanaka, which was renovated by a designer in November 2025. In a calm, modern Japanese space that makes use of the warmth of wood, you can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji in front of you from the room and the terrace. If you go out to the terrace, you can enjoy a relaxing BBQ with Mt. Fuji in the background. Spending time looking at Mt. Fuji, which changes its appearance depending on the season and time of day, is a special experience that can only be enjoyed here. ▫️ Notes ▫️ About the natural environment. It is a natural environment. We take measures to prevent insects from entering the room, but it is difficult to completely prevent them, so we do not recommend staying here if you are not good with insects. About the surrounding walking paths There is a walking path next to the house, and hikers occasionally pass by. About winter use There is a steep uphill slope to access, so please equip studless chains in winter. The hotel is also accessible only by car or taxi.

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.
