Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hudson River

A truly magical escape. This sacred treehouse was absolutely perfect - peaceful, stunning, and deeply rejuvenating. Rob and Roberta were the kindest, most thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Their warmth made the experience even more special. From sunbathing on the rocks and meditating in the grass, to yoga overlooking the water and cooking local organic meals - every moment was magic. Already planning my return. Thank you, Roberta and Rob!!

We stayed for a few days at the zen cottage and it was the most relaxing and peaceful weekend. The cottage is exactly has described and super clean. Alma and James were very helpful and welcoming. Overall had an extremely enjoyable weekend and hope to come back soon

Amazing place and surroundings! Were looking for a peaceful weekend away and it was just perfect - Kitchen had everything we needed for home cooking and a closet full of board games for some great family time - The view is breathtaking and a great firepit and small creek just below.

Even though the house is by the road, the backyard is serene and peaceful. It was wonderful to sit by the fire pit and make use of the grill in the evening. The house has everything you need and plenty of space. The dining table is in the entrance/hallway, which doesn’t feel ideal.

We have been looking forward to our stay at this cabin for weeks. We needed to unplug and we got just that. It was a rainy weekend but that made the area more magical. The house is so beautiful , loved the nice art sprinkled all over the house including a lovely picture of the waterfalls behind the property which can be heard from the house! everything was clean and very homie! and we got a ton of suggestions for things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10

This place is truly magical - there aren’t many place that offer you a private waterfall and creek for the weekend. If you’re looking for peace and quiet near the sound of a running creek and waterfall, this is the place!

This was my second time staying here and it’s perfect what I needed. I come up from the city to work Saratoga racetrack and just need a place to lay my head. It’s great affordable and clean. If you’re interested in downtown Troy, it’s a quick 10 minute drive. Also there is a Stewart’s close by. John and Shauna were very accommodating on both my visits!

I truly enjoyed my stay at Susie's place. She was extremely welcoming, warm, and friendly. I loved having a place to stay right on the farm. My dog loved exploring and smelling all around the property. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. I slept really well. All the animals were wonderful and I loved hearing their stories and having a change of scene from what I do day-to-day. This place and this stay was just what I needed. Easy access to nearby cute towns like Coxsackie, Hudson, and Catskill. I would love to come back again in the future. And I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bennett’s Abode! Larry and Lana’s airbnb had just about everything a visitor would need and they even included a detailed binder full of information and ideas pertaining to the area. Larry was so prompt with his responses and always kept us in the loop. He even provided several great hiking ideas that we utilized throughout our stay at his home. We were so grateful for the overall experience and left with incredible memories!

We really enjoyed our three nights at this apartment in Catskill. It’s right at the end of Main Street, walking distance to a bunch of nice restaurants cafes and shops. A comfortable space for two people, reasonably priced, and charming decorations. Jenna responded quickly when we had questions. This is a good base to explore the town and the region from.

Cindy was great with communications, and gave me all of the instructions I needed to make it a pleasant stay for me, my dog, and the hosts. I stayed Friday and Saturday nights, and enjoyed the craft beer and locally made sourdough pizza in the evenings with a talented musical duo playing on Saturday night. The taproom closes at 8pm, and after closing time the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is cozy with attractive furnishings and a comfortable bed, but it is not a place for people with mobility challenges. There are 17 steps up to the apartment, and the shower in a free-standing claw-foot tub doesn't have handrails. I enjoyed my stay, and give it a 5-star review for physically fit singles or a couple!

It’s been a little over a week since we stayed here and I cannot stop thinking about it. The pictures in this listing are beautiful but the space is even more incredible in person. I also spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and taking in the view of the mountains - so peaceful! The attention to detail here is unmatched. From check in to checkout, everything is very clear. Communication was great. The guidebook is thorough. And, again, the space really is so well done. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings even indoors. Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Rafael's condo. The space was very clean and comfy, and exactly matched the description and photos posted here. The fireplace was a great draw, too. If you're planning on skiing at Mt. Snow, the Moover shuttle bus stop is located right outside of this building, which made for a very convenient and quick way to get to Mt. Snow for my family of 4. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

The Villa was exactly as described! Easy communication with owner. A perfect getaway weekend, every amenity we could want or need! Look forward to visiting again in the near future!

Paul’s condo was PERFECT for our family of 4. The condo is in pristine condition. Highlights include beautiful balcony over the view with a surrounding view, HUGE bathroom and very comfortable king bed. The amenities also made the stay tip-notch, including very large pool, hot tub, outdoor play areas and pool/games downstairs. The building was well-kept as a resort. Highly recommend: 10/10!

Such a unique stay! David gave very helpful instructions for arriving and getting to the property, even supplied photos for extra assistance. The property itself is cozy and in a great part of the city. There’s lots to do nearby, super walkable, and David provides great local recommendations. The shared gallery space was so cool to see too. Great experience!

Great host, responsive and accommodating! Place was clean and felt right at home away from home! Check in and check out was easy, parking on site, nice neighborhood, cozy place, will definitely be staying here again!

We booked the place for a family stay near Woodstock. It was easy to get in. There’s automated messages for every step of the stay with instructions which was very nice and helpful. We had a great stay in a worm and clean space. Would definitely go back.
