Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Huizen

Excellent accommodation in a nice area! We enjoyed our stay very much and would book it again without a doubt. Some points of attention for the next time: • Cleaning supplies: It would be useful if there were a little more cleaning supplies, such as a mop, garbage bags and dishwasher tablets. • Use of the dishwasher: The instruction to not leave any dirty dishes, while the dishwasher should not be used on departure is impractical – especially if you are with a larger group (e.g. 10 people). It would be more hygienic and easier if the dishwasher can be used when checking out, as long as the dishes are left clean. • Draw all around the house: Bring a drawing chord – there are a lot of ticks in the area. • Deposit: Please state the deposit clearly in the listing and preferably ensure it is refunded on the day of departure.

The stay was very nice. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for 2 people! The house looked like the pictures and is very spacious. Large well-kept garden and terrace. We will be happy to come back!

The house was very well equipped for a family gathering. The kitchen was great for preparing family meals. We were 8 for part of our stay and the large dining room and lounge were ideal for our group. You do need a car or bike to get into Abcoude. Frustratingly parking in Abcoude is not good with 2 hour time limit so bit of a hassle to go to Amsterdam by train as required parking quite a distance from the station and walking but we figured a way that worked for us. The little restaurant next door is busy particularly at weekends but is handy for a bite to eat or a drink. The house has a lovely countryside setting which suited us but does come with drawbacks for example the WiFi isn’t great and the abundant bird life can be ‘messy’ but that’s nature😊 Would definitely stay again.

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel right at home right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the love for detail in every corner!

Very hospitable, easily approachable. Beautiful location with lots of greenery, animals and tranquility. Nice, clean and well-equipped B&B with delicious breakfast. Enjoy the wood stove. Recommended, even with young children!

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday for two. :) The accommodation is really beautiful and you feel at home.

We found the perfect spot to spend a few days in the Breukelen / Maarssen area. Able to live like a local by biking to shops and touring the area. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. Great biking and boating in the area - follow their recommendations. Most welcoming hosts we have met. Thank you for everything.

Clean, unusual, renovation apartment is in pastoral place . We visited some interesting places in radius 1-1,5 hour driving: Urc, Enkhuizen, Zuiderzeemuseum, Giethoorn ,Zwolle(Park English Work), Museum de Fundatie/Kasteel Het Nijenhuis, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe. Serge is a great host. We were warmly welcomed and had a wonderful stay in his apartment. Serge was available around the clock, gave us great tips for activities and showed us his farm. We were also able to get to know the horses there up close. The apartment was just like in the pictures, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back on our next visit to Holland.

The location was perfect for us and accommodations clean, quiet and private. Beautiful town! Hope to return someday!

Yasmin’s place was amazing! Unfortunately we had a short stay so we didnt get to experience everything she had to offer but the amenities were great and it was a beautiful location as well. She is also super friendly and communicated well. We would definitely book again.

The apartment and courtyard fully corresponded to the information and published pictures. Very clean, tastefully and lovingly furnished, many small extras. Very quiet location, within walking distance to the center. Machteld welcomed us very nicely, is always approachable and has good tips for excursions, food, etc.

The stay with Marjolein and Michiel was extraordinarily beautiful and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambience with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site of the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, and Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

Very nice stay with very friendly hosts! The location is also great, close to the center of Barneveld but still completely in the tranquility of the countryside. The surroundings are also beautiful, a beautiful area for cycling on the Veluwe.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in the cabin. The place and the cabin are fantastic and Rens and Elisa w af and super friendly. In addition to the beautiful surroundings and the beautiful accommodation, we were very happy with the wood stove and the hot tub that we could use for a fee. This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was super clean, lovingly decorated and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet but still central. Mandy-Remko was very friendly, easy to reach and provided us with great tips. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

We had a wonderful week at the Duinstudio. Particularly noteworthy is the equipment, everything is available, from kitchen accessories to the equipment in the bathroom with plenty of towels, bath mat, etc. A warm welcome from Annelies, who was always there to help. We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden after a bike ride or a hike. Here, too, everything is well prepared, nice seating areas, charcoal for the grill, wood for the garden fireplace. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Had a wonderful stay! It was super clean and nothing was missing. We felt right at home. It was nice and quiet at the park during our stay and we had a wonderful walk in the woods, directly from the cottage. Even if you stay indoors, it is wonderfully relaxing, thanks to the beautiful decor. Highly recommended!

Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!
