Cabin holiday rentals in Huntsville

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

We had a great stay at Lisa's place. Our family spent a lot of time on the water exploring the lake in the available canoe and kayaks and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub in the evenings. The outdoor space is setup perfectly for living outside on those sunny days and inside the cabin is cozy and has all the amenities you need if the weather isn't great.

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the deck was stunning. We especially appreciated the little touches like the, family friendly games, fast Wi-Fi, and detailed welcome guide. Whether you’re looking to relax in the hot tub, kayak on the lake, or just unwind in a peaceful setting, this cottage has it all. The house is exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances one could hope for. All of the beds were very comfortable with clean bedding. The house boasts a perfect view of the lake and is peacefully tucked into the forest. Our family stayed to visit Sandhills Nursery nearby for Easter activities for the kids. The house is also driving distance to a lot of great hiking trails and outdoor activities. We will definitely be back!

We loved our mini getaway! We had everything we needed and more! Sleeping was a dream. Comfy bed (and cozy couch!) Chilled by the fire…. Wandered the road…. Peaceful vibes. very nice place to getaway and relax! Just what we needed to relax and enjoy with the family! the lake is beautiful, we really enjoyed the canoeing and kayaks. even the big yard and the view are awesome. only one thing, the sofa bed was not very comfy to sleep. but, everything else was perfect to enjoy. thanks Ash/Nic for being a good host and friendly ppl.

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

A great weekend with my cousin and her 2 year old child and 2 dogs. Made much use of the kayaks and sunbathing on the pontoon, as well as the fire pit and covered deck in the evening.

I had a great time on my mini vacation at this property. Very relaxing, lovely little property and easy to get to. Felt very private even though it was close to other homes.

My friends and I found this cottage when looking for a place to stay for an ATV getaway, cottage was very close to the trails! Host was amazing to deal with and the whole process was easy! Felt very comfortable and will be looking at returning!

We had a lovely stay at Natasha's. Home was very new, clean, modern and tastefully decorated. Just loved admiring all the beautiful trees! We had a dog with us and walking around the surroundings was so peaceful. Sauna/spa was great after a long walk. Very close to Haliburton and Minden. There is a very nice country market nearby as well. Highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful retreat with a modern touch.

We stayed at cabin #1 during October 11-13 weekend. We loved this place. Very clean, cute cabin, worth the price. Amy was very quick to respond. There are kayaks, canoes to use, firepit, bbq grill. We had awesome experience. I am looking forward to book it again. I highly recommend this place for with kids trip. There is beautiful playground by the beach.

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

The Happy Place was a beautiful, quaint cabin with all the essentials for a peaceful nature getaway. Katie and Dave were thoughtful and proactive in providing check-in information and recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin had tons of charming details, was extremely well kept and offered a lot of privacy. Weather and prior engagements kept us from enjoying the outdoor amenities (sauna, fire pit, kayaks) but we did enjoy throwing on a movie from their great collection. We would certainly come again to this picturesque cabin.

What an absolute amazing place to stay! Fantastic place to absolutely wind down and just take it all in. Nice short drive from Huntsville and Halliburton where we explored a few places. Felt better than home as it was so quiet, my home is not 🤣 Would absolutely love to go again in the future.

We had an amazing time, and we will definitely be back! The cottage had everything we needed, and the beach was amazing. We had all the water toys we could imagine, and sitting at the lake in the morning was my favourite thing to do. The accessible bathroom was perfect for my son and made our stay that much better. Neil was very accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond if there was anything we needed. The lake is so peaceful and we did not want to leave. Highly recommend :)

I had a great stay at Red Pine Retreat. The location and setting is secluded enough to be very peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is prepared with everything you need for an off-grid yet comfortable stay. Even though I travel well prepared and have all the light/water/equipment needed for this type of stay, I appreciated the battery/solar lighting available in the cabin and outhouse as my stay was later in the year when it gets dark fast and it helped when arriving and setting up. The BBQ with side burner was also very handy to have. Olivia is a great host and responded to questions very quickly. I would definitely come back to enjoy this beautiful place.

We booked Yogi’s Cabin last minute and couldn’t be happier we did! Perfect spot for our family of four (plus our pup!). The view is stunning, the lake is quiet and peaceful, and the cabin had everything we needed for an stress-free stay. Clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches, including a lovely welcome gift! We’d highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
