Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Icaria

My husband and I stayed at Orestis's place for 5 days. It was a perfect location for beautiful hikes and walks, on both footpaths and the roads. The house itself is filled with history and with love, and it provided us with a wonderful home base. The table outside was lovely for all of our meals and restful times. The kitchen is very well equipped and we were able to cook our meals. The village square is just a few steps away, the mini mart had what we needed, and the bakery is wonderful. Orestis responded to each of our questions promptly, and gave us helpful information and resources. Though in a quiet, mountainous setting, the village of Evdilos is just a few kilometers away. I highly recommend this traditional stone house for a wonderful Ikarian experience. Orestis is an attentive and kind host!

Malama is for those who seek a quiet, private place to relax and rewind. the house is spacious, lovingly built and mantained with a private beach. Kostas and his wife are true, caring hosts who welcomed us warmly even with little delicacies. everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. We would have loved to stay longer and will return when back on Samos for sure!

We had a wonderful time at Nikos's place. His father met us in the square and showed us to the apartment, which was charmingly furnished and very close to the center of town. Communication was easy and we spent several evenings lounging on the roof deck. Highly recommended!

We had a magical time at Katrina’s place. She and Maria went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home. Thank you so much and we’ll definitely come back.

We waren met zn drieën. Was een klein beetje moeilijk te vinden maar als je precies doet wat Maria doorgeeft dan kom je er wel. De ruimte was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. Zaten elke avond in de achtertuin te kijken naar de prachtige ondergaande zon. We mochten zoveel sinasappels en citroenen plukken en gebruiken als we wilde. En dat hebben we ook gedaan. Heerlijk juice in de ochtend. We hadden goed contact met onze host. Als we iets wilde werd dat meteen geregeld en we konden alles vragen. Het is zeker de moeite waard om er heen te gaan. Boven een practige ruime master slaapkamer met eigen badkamer. Beneden een kleine slaapkamer met een 1 persoonsbed en in de kelder verstopt een slaapkamer met twee 1 persoons bedden. Is leuk voor kinderen. Al met al was het goed vertoeven. Ik raad het zeker aan.

Lovely location and very nice people. Vasileia’s mom furnished the place with some tasty treats from the bakery before my arrival . Vasileia’s place is located in a beautiful square in the small village of Akamatra. Her place is very comfortable with all necessary amenities. The family run bakery is next to Vasileia’s place has wonderful products. This is a place one would definitely want to come back to.

Het verblijf in het huis van Minas en Rodopi was geweldig. Het was mooier dan we op de foto's konden zien en het was van alle gemakken voorzien. Als je op zoek bent naar rust in een prachtige omgeving, kan je dit huis veilig boeken. De routebeschrijving die wij ontvingen voor de rit vanaf het vliegveld was perfect, want vooral het laatste stuk vanaf de doorgaande weg is steil en deels onverhard. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Apollon (de beheerder) en Rodopi. Er stonden allerlei zelfgemaakt producten voor ons klaar, die wij mochten gebruiken. Gedurende de week kwamen Minas en Rodopi langs om ons nog meer te brengen. Ontzettend vriendelijk en bovendien erg lekker. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad, met gelukkig mooi weer (eind april). Het (privé)strand onderaan de klif is top, en wij hebben hier meerdere keren gezwommen en gesnorkeld.

Die Unterkunft von Vagelis ist einfach traumhaft. Am Berghang in mitten der Natur. Der Blick von dort oben über die Ägäis ist einfach wundervoll und die Sonnenuntergänge super schön. Vagelis ist ein großartiger, aufgeschlossener Mensch der uns viele hilfreiche Tips, Auskünfte und Tagesziele empfohlen hat. Alles in allem war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub und Ikaria ist immer eine Reise wert. Wir kommen wieder.

Une vue fantastique avec le couché de soleil depuis la terrasse, Giwrgos a ete tres souple sur notre heure d'arrivee et est un hote tres accueillant avec de multiples petites attention.

Stelios is a very friendly and hospitable host. The house is in Marathocampos a lovely town on the southern outskirts of Kerki surrounded by olive groves. The house is as spacious and comfortable as the photos show and has a wonderful terrace with panoramic sea views. The location of the house is also great, there are nice beaches and restaurants nearby (Kampos and Ormos). We also recommend you to visit the village of Koumeika and eat at the Sama restaurant under the plane tree in the village square. It is also possible to meet Stelios there ;) Many thanks again to Stelios! Irem

Ένα προσεγμένο κατάλυμα,με προσοχή στην λεπτομέρεια, άνετο, σε ήσυχη γειτονιά,με θέσεις πάρκινγκ πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο.Καινούργιο,καθαρό και περιποιημένο. Εξαιρετική θέα στο απέραντο γαλάζιο,με ζεστούς και φιλόξενους ιδιοκτήτες που σε κάνουν να νιώθεις άνετα από την πρώτη στιγμή.Ευχαριστούμε θερμά για την όμορφη διαμονή!

It was amazing to spend around one week in Giorgo's place. It is even better than the pictures, very quiet and private, super clean and had everything you might possibly ask for!! Nas Beach and Armenistis are very close and he gives good local recommendations. To see the view of the beautiful sunset in the evening is priceless and everything went so well!! He even thought of mosquitoes, hair dryer, everything, super clean and wonderful!! Thank you very much Giorgos!!

We had a great stay and Areti was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Un soggiorno perfetto: la posizione dell'alloggio tra Christos e Agios Dimitrios è perfetta, la casa nuova, pulita e fornita di tutti i servizi indicati. Vangelis è stato molto gentile e ci ha supportato laddove necessario nel soggiorno.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν εξαιρετικό, ευρύχωρο και πολύ καθαρό. Η τοποθεσία ήταν ιδανική καθώς υπήρχε σε μικρή απόσταση (με τα πόδια) 24ωρος φούρνος αλλά και διάφορα μέρη για φαγητό. Επίσης το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στις παραλίες Μεσακτή και Νας. Το πάρκινγκ που προσφέρεται είναι φοβερά εξυπηρετικό, ιδιαίτερα σε περιόδους αιχμής. Τέλος οι ιδιοκτήτριες είναι ευγενέστατες και πάρα πολύ εξυπηρετικές σε οτιδήποτε και εάν χρειαστεί. Θα το επέλεγα σίγουρα ξανά .

There are a lot of great reviews about this place and here's another one, probably because its a great place! My partner and I came to the Island for the 1st time on honeymoon last year. We are in our mid sixties. Giorgos's place is amazing and in a fantastic location with stunning sunsets. It was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. 1.5 Km walk to Armenistis and 2km walk to Nas, it has 5 amazing and different beaches within walking distance where there are Great cafes and restaurants run by friendly locals. Giorgos is a super super host. He is kind hearted and genuine and very keen to help in any way that he can, whilst respecting your privacy. We weren't keen to drive on the Island; so got a taxi to and from the airport . 70 euros each way which worked well for us. Icaria , if you haven't been before, is honest, authentic, mountainous and breath takingly beautiful. Its Greece in a bottle. We will be going again and again and again........ Location was really good, it was right in front of the beach and it was like our personal beach, when we were swimming there were no one else & this felt amazing. There is a little quiet village in 20 min walking distance with cute restaurants and market. Which was really good because location is 1h driving distance to all city centres. Overall was a good choice if you are looking for peace and quiet. Negative sides: one bedroom is outside of the main house,no dishwasher and most importantly there are so so so so many bugs and they do not get affected by bugoff spreys so if you are afraid of the bugs you should consider this

Everything about our stay was amazing, I would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay in Ikaria.

L’alloggio di Filippos è prezioso, ti inserisce in un contesto perfetto per l’esperienza che vivrai nell’isola. La casa è super confortevole con ottimi spazi all’aperto e al chiuso. È molto piacevole aver notato alcuni dettagli probabilmente realizzati da Filippos stesso all’interno della proprietà. Filippos inoltre ci ha dato un sacco di consigli e nel momento del bisogno è sempre stato tempestivo nelle informazioni. Non potevamo scegliere casa migliore per posizione e comfort trovati

We enjoyed our stay at Apollo’s beautiful villa! The house was spacious, clean, and well appointed for our visit. The house is on the beach where we enjoyed swimming after a day of exploring Samos. You can walk up the street and enjoy local restaurants or drive to Kokari, Pythagorio, or Karlovasi. For our check-in, Apollon met us at the house, explained all we needed to know, and supplied us with a few provisions to get started. Excellent host who I strongly recommend for your adventures in Samos! Five stars!

So peaceful! Our family loved being here. The house was spectacular, inspired layout, beautiful selection of art and furniture. We could not have been more pleased with the gardens, the patios and the view. We woke up to the sound of the ocean. The town was walkable with wonderful restaurants very close by. Looking forward to booking a longer stay next year. We will remember the peace that we gathered and will be going forward with that peace in our hearts and memories.

I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely home, the host Mihalis was beyond gracious and helpful! I am definitely coming back next year! The home was right across the street to some amazing hiking trails to a gorgeous beach. I rented a car so could easily get around and everything was so close by especially the town of Therma where the healing natural spring baths were located. It only a short 10 minute drive and the restaurants in Therma had the BEST food!

Exceeded expectations! Absolutely stunning location, perfect little house with everything you need and more! We loved the wuick access to the beautiful beahc onlt a shoet walk, on the way up is slightly steep but is very short and totally worth it. Hosts very attentive and go above and beyond for you.

Ev sahibi çok ilgili, anlayışlı ve iyi niyetli. Ailemle çocuklarımla kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik. Kalacaklara tavsiyem ulaşım için araç kiralaması yaparlarsa çok daha rahat olur otoparkı dahi var. Bütün bölgelere ortak noktada. Kendilerine ilgi ve alakalarından dolayı çok teşekkür ederim.
