My friend and I had a great stay in Eleni’s place. We appreciated the dog-friendliness. Eleni was very communicative and guided us to the house via messages in the middle of the night after our arrival by boat in Evdilos. It was easy to heat up the apartment using the airconditioning, as the nights were still cold mid April. We would definitely stay at Eleni’s if we come back to Ikaria again.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese Unterkunft für ein einfaches Leben auf dem Land in der Nähe (Auto erforderlich da 300 m.ü.M.) toller Strände. Super schöne Sonnenuntergänge!

Georgia's place was magical—peaceful, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing. The breathtaking view made it feel like home. Her lovely neighbor Toula even lent me olive oil and made me feel part of the village. Georgia was very responsive and communicative—definitely worth staying!

If you are looking for a peaceful, private, very clean and comfortable stay surrounded by endless natural beauty, then this is the place for you! Zacharias is very conscientious about making sure you have everything you need and is helpful and friendly. He happily met me at the village square to show me the way to his place the first time and once he did that it was no problem finding it. What I especially loved was the quiet, since Greece can be noisy with motorcycles and barking dogs. It was profound. The views of the canyon, mountains, sea and sunsets are stunning. The cabina itself has every comfort needed. The STO Kampi restaurant in Agios Dimitrios is very good and 5 minute drive away, (or walkable) and it’s just a 15 minute drive down to the coastal town of Armenistis to seek out beaches and more life. Highly recommend!!

Eirini was so kind and helpful, the location was great and very peaceful. Sunsets from the porch are beautiful!

The room is super nice, the view is amazing. Νεφέλη perents are really nice and kind. They give you homade olive oil, and spices from garden for cooking! Beach is close, but is nothing special, but Seychelles beach is also close and it is beautiful! Recommend.

Tolle einfache Unterkunft in sehr schöner Lage. Wir waren insgesamt zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Baby). Vielleicht wichtig zu wissen: Zwischen Küche und Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Schiebetür mit Glasfenster, man bekommt also die Geräusche und Lichter aus der Küche mit. Hat mit Baby trotzdem gut funktioniert. Die Aussicht aufs Meer und die Terasse sind unschlagbar schön. Der Kontakt zu den Eltern nebenan und zu Vakis war auch prima. Der Weg ins Dorf ist kurz, dort gibt es alles was man im Alltag braucht. Und der schönste Strand ist auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Insgesamt ein wunderbar erholsamer Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank

Il posto è molto molto bello, pulito ed anche eco sostenibile. Ci siamo trovati molto bene gli host sono disponibili e attenti, sono sempre nelle vicinanze per ogni esigenza. Bisogna sapere che la zona in cui alloggerete non è proprio in città quindi è fondamentale il mezzo di trasporto (scooter o auto). Per ogni esigenza bisogna fare riferimento a Nas o armenistis . La spiaggia sotto casa quando il mare è calmo è fantastica.

Stamatoula's studio looks out on to her beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy the view. The room and kitchen are very well equipped with everything you could want. It is spacious and very comfortable. The nicest thing however is Stamatoula who goes above and beyond to make you welcome and for you to enjoy your stay. I stayed over Easter and she kindly invited me to a delicious meal and took me to things going on in the village. She was very kind, thoughtful and helpful. A wonderful place to stay!

Fantastic stay. A very comfortable place. It appears much bigger as you enter the apartment due to the incredible, expansive view from the balcony. I was still in amazement of it after being there two weeks. Dimitrios was a great host and provided all that I needed. Along with enjoying dining or swimming in Armenistis, it was nice to go for long walks to nearby towns and to go onto some of the hiking trails that are pointed out with red arrowed markers just off the paved road. But always great to come back to the apartment at any time of day and enjoy the view!

A beautiful, peaceful sanctuary; a clean and comfortable flat with easy access to places in Gialiskari. It was exactly as described and very well taken care of. The best part was the magnificent view of Gialiskari, the port, and the Icarian Sea from the private porch. The host was very respectful, responsive, flexible, and accommodating, making communication very easy. She was knowledgeable about the area and graciously shared options. It felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend staying at this place in the future!

Wir waren das erste mal auf Ikaria und suchten eine ruhige Wohnung mit gut ausgestatteter Küche, Meerblick und in Strandnähe. Es war unser Glückstreffer auf einer 7-wöchigen Reise über Rhodos, Symi, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Pathmos und Ikaria. Die Sonnenuntergänge genossen wir auf dem Balkon, das Meer am kleinen „Privatstrand“ war glasklar und erfrischend. Olga hatte uns vorab mit allen wichtigen information zur Unterkunft und der Umgebung versorgt. Wasser, Gebäck und eine Flasche leckeren Rose vom Weingut Tsantiris standen bereit. Die Küche perfekt ausgestattet und die Einrichtung sehr gemütlich und praktisch zugleich. Bei der Abreise trafen wir Olga noch persönlich. Sie ist eine wundervolle Vermieterin. Leider war die Zeit in Olgas Apartment viel zu kurz.

Ons verblijf bij Electra was fantastisch. Het appartement heeft veel sfeer en het grote balkon prachtig uitzicht over de Egeïsche zee. Armenistis zelf is een pareltje met een perfecte combinatie aan rust, fijne restaurants en cafés, stranden en wandelpaden. Ik denk wel de fijnste plek op Ikaria om te verblijven. Electra zelf was een fantastische gastvrouw. Heel aardig, fijn in de communicatie en ze gaf veel fijne tips voor eten en activiteiten. Ik hoop hier zeker nog eens terug te keren.

Therma is a beautiful place to vacation. I have relatives in Agios and it is walkable to get there. The hot springs are enjoyable and if you didn’t want to leave this beautiful quaint little town you didn’t have to. This AB&B is perfect to stay in with its little kitchen quarters for cooking and a fridge to store your cold food and drinks. Let’s not forget the balcony to overlook this beautiful town. I highly recommend this AB&B! Restaurants, markets, bakeries and souvenirs are all at your fingertips!

We would like to thank Angeliki and her husband for the warmhearted welcome and care during our stay. They are truely wonderful people. I am not exaggerating. The apartment is located 8 a minutes walk away down to the harbour / downtown (9 minutes up, if you are over 60) From the upper floor you have the view of town and mediterranean you always dreamed of. The apartment is well equipped , with anything 5 people will need for a two week vacationA number of nice (sandy) beaches are within 20 minutes driving distance. The island is much greener (more vegetated, even with forest) then most greek islands. With it’s history and historical places (from 2500 BC to 1100 AC and more recent history‘s house of Mikos Theodorakis), mountains, lake and forest it lends itself to discovery tours, hiking and swimming. Very good greek cooking with interesting varieties in an abundance of restaurants is a given. We will be back.

This was a bright, roomy apartment with multiple windows for fresh air and viewing. It is in a location that catches sea breezes, reducing need for AC. We particularly liked that it was an easy walk into the center of Fourni.

Die Unterkunft von Eleni ist einfach mega: kurze Wege zum einkaufen und zu tollen, Restaurants, der Strand direkt vor der Tür und vom Zimmer aus sichtbar, akklimatisierte Zimmer und das beste: eine wunderbar herzliche Vermieterin. Ich habe mich direkt wohl gefühlt. Es war ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt und ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

This was a delightful little gem. It is in the centre of town and easy to access. Lots of room to spread out. Comfortable bed and couch. Paraskevi has thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable. I was able to drop back to base in between exploring the area. The town is very friendly with great restaurants and fabulous food. I felt like the only tourist in town. A very authentic place. The next village, Therma is only a 25 minute walk and is well worth a visit. As is the museum of Agios Kirykos. There are thermal hot springs in the other directions at Therma Lefkados which supposedly have therapeutic qualities. They bubble up from the ocean near the rocky shore. My host was very kind and friendly. had a wonderful time

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Kampos. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, in einer guten Lage und besitzt alles an notwendiger Ausstattung. Die Kommunikation mit Nikolaos ist einfach.

Meine Zeit dort war wunderbar, alles war so wie geplant und erwartet. Archondoula hat mir angeboten mit auf ein Festival oben am Berg zu gehen und ihr Onkel hat uns gefahren. Vielen Dank nochmal. Die Musik dort war sehr authentisch. Die Lages des Appartements ist zentral gut gelegen, fussläufig in die schönen Gassen, gleich am Hafen und nahe den Quellen. Man ist mitten im Griechischen Leben, hört manchmal die Schulglocke und die ganz normalen Menschen in Ihrem Alltag. Die Dachterrasse ist herrlich für den morgendlichen Kaffee, wenn die Sonne kommt wäre hier ein Sonnenschutz hilfreich. Dies würde ich Archondoula nochmal als Anregung mitgegeben. Sonst alles perfekt.

Wunderbare Unterkunft am westlichen Ende von Samos´Südküste - abseits des deprimierenden Massentourismus. Kleinteilige, liebevolle, parkähnliche Anlage, mit viel Einsatz toll instandgehalten. Leider gibt es von 4 Lokalen in dem Bereich (Ort kann man nicht sagen) keine einzige Taverne mit wirklich guter griechischer Küche.

Τέλος, η οικοδέσποινα πολύ φιλόξενη και πρόθυμη να μας δώσει τις απαραίτητες πληροφορίες για το νησί, καθώς ήταν η πρώτη μας φορά. Σίγουρα όμως θα υπάρξει κι επόμενη. Ευχαριστούμε για όλα !
