Relax in this quiet and elegant new property. The house is under construction and will be ready in early June 2024, so there are only traces of it outside as the interior is not ready until then. The house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The house is located about 5 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur and is therefore halfway between The black sand beach in Vík and The national park Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón in the east. From the house there is a view of both Vatnajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

Exellent location between Airport (30 min.) and Reykjavík (15.min Central). The Cottage is downtown Hafnarfjörður, close to the harbour, a walking distance from Restaurants, Coffee shops, Tourist info, cute little shops, supermarket and a central bus stop. Taking a SAUNA after a long day is a real treat and the "outside" shower (with hot and cold water) is a great experience. Then Hvílusteinn is perfect as a getaway from the city into the wilderness & as a base camp for South Iceland, within 100 km you have most of Iceland's popular gems! Airport about 170km away. It's nice to just enjoy the local nature and the northern lights in this remote and secluded area of the countryside with a private outdoor shower and shared indoor shower and a sauna. Hvoll is a farm with horses, sheeps, dog and a cat. It is located in Þingeyjarsveit by road 854. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away).
