Chalet holiday rentals in Iceland

We can only recommend the property. Furnished with attention to detail, it offers a great starting point for day trips to Myvatn, Husavik, Arctic Henge and of course to the neighboring Asbyrgi. We felt very comfortable and would come back if we were to go to the north again.

Location was beautiful! Wonderful to sit in the hot tub outside will the sun set! So very peaceful.

Great cabin at a great location, close to lots of nice sightseeing. The cabin itself feels very homey, and had lots to play with for our 1,5 yo old son. Agnes is a great host as well!

A cute little cabin surrounded by the mountains. Everything was clean and tidy and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. We did not try the hot tub, but it looked serene! Good for a little peace and quiet on a long trip around Iceland.

First of all, Iceland is a wonderful country. The countryside is beautiful, with the Blue Lagoon, the geyser site, the wonderful waterfalls, the gletsjers. We were there at the end of the year, with a wonderful snowy countryside. The place in Nordurnes is very good. It lies in the mountains in a very nice parc, with lots of space around it. Fully equiped and very good service. All of our questions were answered quickly and adequately. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Iceland and we would recommend the house in Nordurnes to everyone. Thanks a lot, Dan, Mel and Sveinn!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the cozy cabin! Close to Thingvellir and laugvartn for all the activities we wanted to do and very friendly and responsive host!

The house was amazing and all of our party loved having it as our base while in Iceland. It was exactly as pictured with clear instructions provided about check in, where to find everything and check out. We made good use of the sauna, hot tub and cold plunge which is amazingly relaxing, even until late in the evening!

Everything was great. Location was great for the south east side of Iceland.

The location is great if you want to have an experience in iceland away from Reykjavik but still close to fun tourist attractions. Husafell has plenty to offer while the home itself is spaced nicely away from other houses in this small neighborhood within this little village. The house itself is magnificent. Heated floor makes the house so warm and welcoming. The beds are very comfortable and all the amenities are just over the top nice and high qaulity. I've stayed at AirBnBs that were much more expensive and had uncomfortable beds and skimped on every amenity, this was a very welcome surprise compared to those experiences. My favorite was the hot tub which actually used the natural hot water from the ground rather than a heating mechanism... so essentially you are getting your very own hot springs experience included with this rental! The sauna was also a favortite among a number in our party. Would lvoe to come back and spoend more time here!
