Wow! Best Airbnb ever- we absolutely loved the place . It was so cozy, comfortable, and functional. We cooked every night, walked around the area for ice cream (great gym nearby) and so close to downtown Rejkavik! Host is so kind and responsive, couldn’t ask for an easier check in / out ! 10/10

We loved this property and had a great,comfortable stay. It’s located a way from the main road on a beautiful scenic property. If we had to more time we would have taking more advantage of the serene setting.

This was a TOP stay! very large, beautiful and clean. Bed was large and very comfortable and even the seat was very good! Dolly was absolutely the icing on the cake, she spent several hours with us for attention and rubs 😁 Einar was very kind upon our arrival. Enormously loved our stay here!

This location is as small as it is described however the sauna, the lake and the location make it worth it. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and when we asked for horseback riding recommendations, he provided us with a place near by and his honest assessment of it. We really appreciated him doing that.

Staying in Dora and Nicolas' cozy flat was everything we could have wished. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and generous. The flat was clean, well-supplied and super comfortable. It was a perfect location for walking to the University for our conference (7 minutes) and into the City Centre (+/- 20 mins) for events, museums and dining. (Just up the street are KaffiVest, a wonderful little cafe/restaurant, a small supermarket, and the local outdoor, heated swimming pool - an Iceland tradition!) We wholeheartedly recommend, and would gladly stay there again!

We stayed at Haukur's cabin for a week and enjoyed it very much. He was always easily accessible and helped us with everything. The property is beautiful and great for unwinding. It's very quiet and peaceful. It looked fantastic in any weather. The cabin is well equipped. You are about 20 minutes away by car from Selfoss and there is everything you need. It was very nice to meet you, hopefully until next time!

The apartment is perfect for a short period of time. It’s not far from Akureyri by car, just about a 15 minute drive away. Good place to watch northern lights from the balcony overlooking the fjord. Room was spacious and kitchen was supplied with the basics.

This was by far the best Airbnb throughout our travel in Iceland. Very cozy, very tidy, surrounded by beautiful nature and perfectly located near nice hiking spots and Selfoss. The highlight definitely was the hot tub, which was already heated when we arrived. It really felt like a little home and we’d love to come back some time.

Absolutely wonderful stay! I would 1,000% come back. Johanna was an amazing host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. She answered all my questions and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for such a fantastic experience!

We loved staying here. It was our home away from home and Óskar was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and informative. We had a lovely time and during our short trip, we got to know the surrounding area well. The bus stop 1 min away takes you directly downtown. The grocery store, playground, restaurants, and library were right around the corner and made for a pleasant little stroll each time we made them. And just a little further on is a beautiful nature walk to the shore and a statue garden. It was really just such a pleasant experience and place and I can't recommend Óskar and his lovely guesthouse more. Thanks for such a pleasant home away from home for our first trip to Iceland. We will definitely be reaching out our next time around.

Great base for three people (two adults, one child) for four nights exploring a little of the South coast. Kitchen had plenty of amenities (Tupperware, cooking equipment etc) for us to take pack lunches on hikes, and made it easy to dine in. We stopped at Costco on the way from the airport, and also topped up at a good grocery store 20 minutes away. So close to the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall that we waited until sunset around 10pm to visit for spectacular views without the crowds. Also gave us plenty of time to hike the Fimmvörðuháls Trail which was only 25 mins away. Accommodation was warm, shower & washing machine/ dryer worked great, and there were panoramic languid sunsets to feast on.

not easy to find reasonable accommodations in Iceland, but this place was good on all counts.

Beautiful location and place and wonderful hosts! Our kids loved saying hi to the horses after coming home from our adventures.

A wonderful farm stay. Horses right outside the window, a friendly dog to great you and sheep in the morning. Well appointed and nice and quiet. Great value.

Sandra’s respite in Reykjavik was the perfect spot for our first trip to Iceland. The location is easily walkable or scooter-able into downtown Reykjavik and we never had a problem finding a parking spot. The street itself is quiet and calm. The place looks just like the photos and had everything we needed. The bed was cozy and there was plenty of room in the closet/drawers for our belongings. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit😊

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at Michal's apartment. It was very clean and comfortable. Just 10 mins away from the airport. The kitchen was fully equipped with enough things for a good breakfast. The fruits basket was a very nice gesture. More than the house Michal and his lovely wife were very very warm and polite people and that's what makes all the difference!! Would highly recommend their place to stay in keflavik.

We had the 3rd floor location Hrimland's place, and it had a nice view of the harbor and was very spacious. It was immaculately clean and well laid out. The location is fantastic; a quick 5 mins walk to Akureyri center, with restaurants and coffee shops. On our last day we walked to the botanical gardens from here, which we highly recommend - a botanical oasis at 66' N! All in all Akureyri was one of our favorite places from our week-long visit to Iceland, and we used it as a base to do the Diamond Circle (including Husavik). Very highly recommended! Barry and Jen
