Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Île de Nantes

A great stay in this accommodation, warm and very pleasant (especially the bed which is mega comfortable!) Looking forward to returning to Trentemoult, and to this accommodation!

Erwan is a fantastic host and a very cosy house in a enclosed place that feels very cosy. The inner courtyard has neighbours sharing and they are also friendly and discerning. The area is just out of the busiest part of the city in a leafy tree lined street. Would definitely stay again. 15mins share bike ride to the center of Nantes and similar to l’iles de machines.

Martine and Pierre's place is ideal for small families, close to Forget Island allowing walks with children. Easy access to relay parking to get to Nantes by public transport! Martine and Pierre are very welcoming and have kind attention to guests!

We loved Marion’s place. As soon as she opened the gate I felt like I was in the country. To get to the old town was a 6 stop tram ride and about a 10 minute walk to the tram. I would highly recommend this place even though you are not close by the restaurants. The travel is easy.

I was lucky to manage to grab a long weekend with my husband in Isabelle's slice of paradise in Nantes. She was a wonderful and kind host, I asked for some local recommendations for restaurants and she came back very quickly with a variety of suggestions at various prices. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the very private courtyard and swimming in the pool. I would highly recommend staying if you get the chance.

Pascale is a very nice host, I was able to chat with her before arriving at the accommodation and after my departure. The instructions were very accurate. The accommodation is really peaceful and very clean. The bedding was clean and the kitchen equipment is more than functional. It was a short stay but I'll be back for sure!

Didier is a friendly person with a great sense of humor. It's so nice to be around a sunny person. A refreshing night in a pleasant accommodation. Very pleasant place to visit again during our stay in Nantes.

Benjamin's place is in a great location on Île de Nantes, close to attractions like Les Machines de l'Île and easy access to the town centre. The apartment is well equipped and beautifully furnished. We received clear information and our host was very helpful.

If you want to feel a local in the city centre, this is the right place. I kind of feel at home since I arrived. The building entrance corridor requires some upgrade to make it look nicer. The apartment is in the 3rd floor, and this may be an issue if you have large bagagges. The apartment has their own furniture, which is nice, but sometimes you may find a hidden speck of dust. Some nice features, such as a collection of vynil records make it unique. At night, you may hear the crowd from the restaurants on the street, but it was ok for me, I did enjoy my sleep. The highlight of the apartment is the location, the bright and spacious living room, which made me qualify this place with a 5 star.

Elise's place is nice and good location. Check-in is clear and very convenient. Despite the very hot weather, the apartment remains quite cool because it is located at the edge of the docks. I recommend.

Ideally located apartment, in the city center and therefore a few minutes' walk from the castle and the streets in which most of the nice restaurants and bars are located, and about 15 min walk from the train station. Very nicely decorated, and perfectly equipped (both in terms of the kitchen - with everything you need in terms of utensils and cutlery but also basic condiments, with even good tea and coffee - but also in the bathroom, with shampoo, soap, hair dryer, but also toothpaste, cottons, lees ball - which are not necessary because the windows insulate well and the apartment is located on the fourth and last floor so away from the "noise" of the street), the apartment is also bright, very clean and particularly pleasant to live in We had a great stay, and would highly recommend it to loved ones wishing to spend a few days in Nantes! Tiphanie was also responsive, very kind and accommodating, it was perfect

Had a great visit! The accommodation is nice, spacious, very clean and very well equipped. I didn't miss a thing! I liked the coffee machine. There is an elevator, which is a plus when you have a lot of luggage. Cécile is very welcoming and everything is very well explained and organized. My only reservation is the bar terrace, which is located under the windows of the accommodation. Despite the double glazing, it's quite noisy in the evening on sunny days. It's not a problem in winter or when the weather isn't nice, it's just the hubbub of customers on the terrace in spring/summer that can disturb some people who want to go to bed early. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Ideal place to discover the neighborhood and the city on foot...

This cute apartment is well represented by the photos -- except there is no photo of the spectacular view of the church from the bedroom window. Having a dryer is a real luxury. It is quite comfortable for a long stay although the kitchen is super tight. Gael is a magnificent host, always available and caring. The location is convenient with grocery stores and Talensac Market in easy walking distance. Also, Les Bouteilles, the restaurant next door is excellent.

Excellent stay in Nantes at the end of June, for us. The location is ideal, right in the center, with restaurants, shops and cinema and tram right next door. The apartment is large and functional (and cool in this heatwave period!) to test without hesitation.

Alice's accommodation is located in an extremely beautiful and quiet residential area, with many amenities nearby such as supermarkets, public transport, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, etc. The center of Nantes is within walking distance in 15 minutes, and even faster by bus, with a very close stop served every 10 minutes. The apartment itself is fully equipped, elegant, with comfortable mattresses and impeccably clean, exactly as in the photos. Unlike other Airbnbs, here it was the owner herself who welcomed us – warm and available, she gave us useful tips on the accommodation and how to get around Nantes. In short, our stay at Alice's was absolutely satisfying, and we would choose this accommodation again with great pleasure! Thank you Alice!
