Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ilmenau

It is a unique opportunity to live in a 500-year-old perfectly renovated old rectory for a while, which we have enjoyed very much.

Excellent, clean and spacious apartment. Loved the area around with the Storks nest and other birds of prey flying around.

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and grill. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

If you want to switch off from city life, this is just the thing. Cozy, clean and well-equipped cottage in the middle of nature. The morning coffee on the terrace to forest sounds is already the perfect start. Those who like to wander through the woods can start some hiking trails directly from there. And on cooler evenings, the fireplace is excellent. And the best part...my big furry friend was warmly welcomed there and felt just as comfortable. I won't be the last time I've been there :) Thanks!

Our time with Eileen and Michael was great! All as described and super nice hosts! We are very happy about the time in Haus Relax and will be very happy to come back.

At the Saale hellem beach..... a very nice, quiet location to explore the area. Fox and rabbit like to run into you. The process goes uphill or downhill. The rapeseed smells wonderful, not all sights were already open. A car is recommended. The time was too short to explore and enjoy everything. The place is really recommended!!! Michael and Doris are very lovely people. I wish you all the best!! A warm greeting to the two of you!!

A short trip took me to Eisenach and to Jasmin's beautiful and spacious studio apartment. I felt very welcome in the large and inspiring living space. Being greeted with flowers and other treats is really a nice gesture. In addition, an extensive assortment with detailed recommendations for the stay was very helpful. A big advantage of the residential area in the quiet villa district of Eisenach for me was the wonderful starting point for hikes in the Thuringian Forest and near Wartburg and in the center of Eisenach. The check-in went smoothly with the help of a key box. Even though I couldn't get to know Jasmin personally, the contact was very friendly and proactive. I would like to come back in the future because the accommodation and surroundings are very inviting and I benefited greatly from this stay there.

We had a nice weekend in the apartment, you can sit very nicely on the quiet terrace, overall it is very quiet. You also have a beautiful view outside from the bed in the attic, which you can reach via a staircase. The kitchen on the ground floor is very well equipped. There is an EDEKA in the village, there are restaurants nearby, but call to be sure. Overall, a very good starting point for tours in the Thuringian Forest. We would like to come back again =)

Fantastic! For our trip on the way to Poland from the Netherlands we stayed here for the night. Would recommend to anyone.

There were two of us with a toddler and we felt very comfortable. A travel cot fits wonderfully into the bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped. In the bathroom there are all kinds of utensils in case you forgot something. Communication was flawless and they were always available. The surrounding area is village and quiet. The hosts' sheep can be observed directly from the kitchen and bathroom. A highlight for our daughter. There is free parking is available right in front of the house. We recommend the place and had a nice time. Everything easily accessible from Zeigerheim.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was super clean, very well equipped and has a nice terrace. Of course, the sauna is outstanding, which we liked to use. The place is highly recommended!

Manuela is super friendly, charming. The place was clean, the bedding smelled of perfume, as did the towels. The apartment was warm and could be easily ventilated. It has a bedroom and living room separate from the kitchen, which is very comfortable.Check-in and check-out are simple The downside is that there were some spiders, although that's the price to pay for so many beautiful plants around, and on the other hand, it would have been nice to find some tea or coffee bags as a welcome. It's absolutely recommended.

The apartment is modern and tastefully furnished, the location to the city center perfect. The only downside: The supermarket next door was supplied from 6 a.m., so our days started quite early... The contact with Sebastian was great! Everything invites you to come back.

You immediately feel at home in the apartment. Everything was as described and also in the photos everything is reproduced - only in reality it was even more beautiful. A great city apartment, it doesn't get any more central. Very good that a parking space is available - would otherwise be difficult in the old town. Our dog also felt comfortable - since he is very vigilant, there were of course some situations at the beginning due to the noise transmission, to which he had to get used - but that also worked out! All around a perfect stay in a great, lovingly furnished apartment right in the historic old town of the beautiful city of Bad Langensalza! We'll be back!

We had a nice week stay at Angelika's. Shops are nearby, the tram station is also just 5 minutes away. It's a nice, privates apartment with all sorts of kitchen equipment and toys for kids. We can only recommend a stay at Angelika's! 😊

We were in Coburg for a short stay and were looking for and found an inexpensive and child-friendly accommodation. The kitchen equipment was great and the beds were comfortable. However, our highlight was the cozy play corner, which our almost 3-year-old daughter did not want to leave. We had a great time ☀️

The apartment is wonderfully beautiful and in the heart of the old town with a view of a green oasis, just behind the Krämerbrücke. The apartment is cozy and furnished with heart, 100% feel-good factor. Lieselotte is nice and uncomplicated and always easy to reach.

Great location in the middle of Erfurt. Great restaurants, scenic and great transportation. Space was perfect for what we needed and it was very clean when we arrived (like new). Very easy to communicate with host.
