Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Innerleithen

Castle view from every window proved to be the perfect flat for exploring Edinburgh. The core location in Old Town offers an ideal base to explore the City and surrounding areas. Everything from groceries to cafes were merely a short walk away. We also loved how the flat comes equipped with all the comforts of home and offered ample room to lounge around in the evening after a day of outings. Lynne was a delightful host. We found the detailed guest guide to be very helpful in addressing any questions we might have had about the flat, as well as information about getting around town and much more. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

The apartment was very comfortable. There were many snacks offered. The apartment is very close to a bus station to the city center. The host had good communication before the rental and was flexible with check in and check out. We had some trouble finding the place in the cold and rainy weather and she was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place for a stay in Edinburgh. Walkable location from the train station and to all the major attractions. Lovely apartment. Very quiet despite being so close to the city sites. Veronique lives nearby and was very friendly, kind and helpful. The apartment was well-supplied with fresh items, and not with leftovers from previous renters. So nice upon arrival to see fresh milk, butter, eggs, bread, juice, yogurt, and a full supply of condiments. Just a great place to stay. Highly recommended. Two nearby restaurants we'd recommend are an Italian restaurant called Amerone, and a French one called Chez Jules. Both excellent and reasonably priced. Busy, so booking ahead is recommended. We used a private driving service, LR Executive, for a day trip out to the highlands. Very expensive, but it was a great way to see the area and do some hiking. They allowed us to plan our own journey and stops. Ask for Andy--a great guide and driver.

We had the best time in Edinburgh and a great stay at the castle nest! John was very helpful and check in instructions were really clear. The location was excellent for us, the only thing to note is that it’s in a busy area and can be noisy, but this didn’t bother us much as we loved the location, but is something to note for other travellers. We stayed at Piers's place as an overnight stop on going further North. Despite seeing the pictures on the listing we were amazed at the beauty and sheer size of the apartment; the high decorated ceilings, original wooden panelling, gorgeous oriental rugs & tapestries, pictures and artefacts from many different countries, plus a modern and extremely well equipped kitchen. I have never had a choice of 4 different ways to make coffee before! I chose the delongi which was perfect. A truly wonderful experience.. highly recommended!

We had a great stay. Linda was super responsive. The kitchen was well stocked so we could make food if we wanted to. Beds were also super comfy as well. Thanks so much!!

Would happily recommend and visit again, the facilities provided were excellent! Communication with the hosts was clear and quick, no problem at all. We brought food with us based on the description and had no problem with the Aga. The heating and WiFi was perfect. Loved having the use of the terrace and garden! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thanks for having us.

we had a great couple of nights stay, daughter suffers with anxiety and austim, so it was nice and peaceful. time for me to just relax. weather was great so big bonus as got to sit in garden and chill

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

The apartment was perfect for the two of us. It was about a 10 minute walk to the tram and about the same to Old Town. Shops and restaurants were just around the corner. The apartment was clean, and there was bread on the counter and milk in the fridge when we arrived. The aparment is upstairs, so you do have to go up a flight of stairs. It was a delightful place in the heart of Edinburgh!

We absolutely loved Peebles, UK! Iris’s airbnb was in the perfect location for enjoying this darling community. It was an easy walk to restaurants and stores. The Airbnb had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Iris was delightful to communicate with and was very helpful and responsive.

This, by far, is the best stay I have visited. Marie is the perfect host, communicated in an exceptional manner, and provided the loveliest place to centre our stay in Edinburgh. From check in to check out, I felt welcome, comfortable, and well situated. Buses were frequent to go anywhere we needed and the accommodation was a welcome resting place after a long day of exploring. I have stayed many places but Marie's provided both the necessities and little extras that made this a fondly remembered experience rather than just a place to lay my head. I recommend this to anyone who wishes to visit and will be recommending it to family and friends who wish to visit in the future.

We, a family of five, enjoyed wonderful four nights in the lovely House on the Hill which was exactly as described. A great plus was the tennis court, that was very well received by our children. Walking the dog was a great experience. We used the farm cottage to explore Scottish Borders, Northumberland and of course Edinburgh. We would certainly come back and highly recommend this lovely place!

Hidden gem. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful, being situated in the middle of the park (yet still in town). Lovely home, spacious. Host is super responsive to questions. Easy walk to a pub for some great food and drinks.

This place far exceeded our expectations!!! One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed out. The comfort of the home is amazing and the decor is fun yet homie, yet the architecture was left to amaze and was well preserved. Felt like home right away. The location was great and was an easy walk to the Royal mile and everything else nearby. If returning to Edinburgh I’m booking here again.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

Kornelia’s place is beautiful and peaceful and I would definitely recommend it to others. It is modern, has great amenities, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Kornelia includes lots of little extras like bread, milk, chips and every spice you can think of! It is very handy having a washing machine and a dryer too. It was 100% accurately described and the location was excellent. It was an easy walk into the city but if you prefer, the bus stop is just around the corner. Kornelia was a responsive host and we appreciated her checking in to see if we had arrived safely. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Kornelia’s flat. It is definitely one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at.

We spent a few days in Edinburgh in June and Rachel's AirBnB was perfect - clean, comfortable and relaxing. We knew we were within a few minutes of Holyrood and the end of the Royal Mile so walking up to the castle was easy. But we were also only a few minutes walk to all the major bus services which we used to get around the city. We would come again.

The place is clean, easily accessible and quiet. You must have a car.

Andrew’s flat in Edinburgh is lovely. Nicely decorated, well appointed, and it has everything you need (kitchen, bath, laundry,etc.). Very nice surroundings - parks and location mean it is quiet. Close to restaurants (from fish ‘n chips to Gourmet dining ). A convenient John Lewis if you forgot something, as we did. Good bus service. We hope to return to Edinburgh again and would love to stay again.
